Pre-ordered a 6 (silver 16GB) at a local Verizon store at 5pm EDT on Friday. Sales rep printed a sales order for me which shows ETA: 09/19 on it, but online order status gave me a 10/07 ship date (the same as the confirmation email I received from Verizon). The email also shows an order number with only 4 digits (5XXX).

Sales rep told me to trust the "09/19" date. Anyone did the pre-order in Verizon store and is in similar situation?
 
I just called customer service because I haven't gotten a tracking number and had no bank activity but he told me everything was accepted and the order will be "shipped" the 19th and that's when I would see payment taken. I know it will ship sooner just wanted to be sure about payment so I called. This is for a 64gb Silver 6+.
 
That's nice. Wish I could get mine sooner.

I am sure you will. I still have 2 more then haven't shipped yet. They still have 4 business days to get things done. I have never ever been burned on a preorder it always works out in the end. The easy part was taking the orders now they have to pack them all :)
 
Funny, mines is the opposite. I have a pending charge on my CC but when I log into Verizon, I am still eligible for a upgrade.

I think location W779001 maybe all coming directly from China. That's why we may not see anything shipping activity until next week , Tues/Weds.

That's my location, and according to FedEx, my phone is chillaxing at their Memphis hub.

Did you order on an already existing Verizon account (upgrade, new line, etc) or a new account?

And have you received a shipping confirmation yet?

I'll start, ordered on my wife's Verizon account, new line. Got a pre-order confirmation, but no shipping confirmation yet.

I have an already existing account. Was on unlimited data and upgraded to a 5gb/month Nationwide talk/text plan. I have not received shipping confirmation yet, just the order confirmation email that states 9/19 delivery. The website said 9/19 when I ordered as well.

Oh and my location is N215501
 
Wife's 64gb 6 got picked up today. My 128gb 6 plus still doesn't show shipping date. Time will tell.
 
Ordered 2x i6 16GB Space Gray, order confirmations at 4:03 & 4:07 AM CDT respectively. Just checked and Verizon billed me for my orders. Still no tracking info yet.

Makes no sense to me as I ordered at 3:18 and have a delivery date of 10/14 lol
 
My card was already charged. But honestly dude, even if it doesn't arrive next week...it's all good. I mean it's just a phone lol if one has to wait an extra day or week or whatever, the world isn't gonna end # You'll get your phone bro. What did you get? 6? 6+?

Actually, the phone itself is not the issue. It's the arrival date. Some of us have small windows of time when we'll be stateside to pick one up for the foreseeable future. I'm not interested in buying a phone on a foreign carrier since when I'm in the US, Verizon works the best for me.

I ordered a 6 Plus, but Verizon doubled my order and is sending me both a 6 (already shipped) and presumably the original 6+ too (email confirmation). I think they've even screwed up and added a new second line to my account since I just received a new "features added" email for a number I don't recognize!

I'm not really interested in trying to wait online to resolve this until the dust settles.

Interesting. It will probably ship earlier, with 10/7 being the deliver by time (like the email says).

You have to wait until the green dot is available which it will take about 10-20 minutes to do it.

The only method that I have found to get chat support is the following:

1. pretend you are ordering another phone with the "upgrade my device" button.
2. go through the steps clicking clicking clicking like ordering a new phone. BUT DON"T ORDER NEW PHONE. lol
3. eventually a "Chat now" button will pop up for live chat support. Cancel order and go back to my verizon.

Every rep is telling people the same thing yet with completely different times per rep. Yours says 3:15-7:03, someone else says 3-4:55 would be delivered day 1 etc. So none of these reps really know.

This is similar to what I was told by a rep over the phone (posted several pages back) but it seems to contradict what some others are saying too. My order confirmation email says 9/19 and the website did as well, so hopefully these reps are incorrect, but hearing it from another source now, I'm starting to feel it's going to be a few weeks until we get our phones...

If you pre ordered from verizon, your phone will not be shipping directly from china. Direct from china is the apple store

Yep. They DO ABSOLUTELY assist with existing orders...How do I know? Because I've been in there 3 times already asking about my existing pre-order. BEST PART IS: They actually help me and are complete idiots.
