Not sure why so many people want to chat with the reps. Half the time, the info they give you is wrong you've already received a confirmation email (most of us). Calling a rep isn't going to speed up the process.

Every rep is telling people the same thing yet with completely different times per rep. Yours says 3:15-7:03, someone else says 3-4:55 would be delivered day 1 etc. So none of these reps really know.

Maybe they're giving times based on the device they ordered.

The Verizon website has gone completely haywire for me. First it said I couldn't access it because I wasn't an account manager, now it says my account is suspended.

You guys have killed Verizon

ATTENTION iPhone 6+ USERS,

ANYONE WHO ORDERED iPhone 6 Plus BETWEEN 3:15 - 7:03 AM (EST), THIS REP KNOWS ABOUT THE ORDERS. This makes sense for users having 10/7/14 delivery date. I hope this helps!

Did your email confirmation always say that it would be delivered October 7, or did it originally say some other date?

Ain't that the truth

My card was finally pre authorized for the total amount rather then just 0.00 and the status on vzw website changed to "your order will ship by 9/19" instead of it saying it was being processed or whatever it first said. My email said delivery by 9/19 so Im not worried too much. FWIW I ordered 9/12 at 5:00am. 4.7"

I have literally received a different answer from each one I have talked to. It's somewhat entertaining that this point

That's because ATT has totally fubar'ed the process, while Verizon is only doing it mildly.

I'm not asking for much..don't even care if it isn't here next week..but please let my shipping date get bumped up 4 days or I'll be forced to go order one on Ebay for 3 grand.

UPDATEEEEEEEE

My status just changed to "Your order has been sent for processing." Maybe calling the customer service rep did something.

Lucky you!

Just being honest. Just tell them you are frustrated with phone support and they will feel sorry for you and help you. My experience.

I mean, They should help us we are spending a lot of money. They owe it to us.

I really don't feel like reading everything in that horrible carrier's notes (I had ATT for a few years and it was the worst carrier experience ever). Verizon is bad but not as bad as all the others. You go with the worst evil, ya know?

Please explain HOW ATT IS ****ING UP THE WORLD?

Regardless of anything, we're on the better network and our lives just overall better. And they know it too.

I somehow ordered my 6 Plus Silver 16GB at like 5:30 EST and got a 9/19 delivery date on both the check-out and confirmation email. Still no update past that, though, except that checking the status on vzw.com gives no information available now. So that's great.

I'm in the exact same boat. I was done with my order by 12:07 AM PST. Nothing yet. Gray 128GB plus.

It seems most people were ordering the 64 or 128 in the 6+ might have something to do with why your delivery date said 9/19 even though you ordered a bit later.

They're canceling orders, and some orders that were showing as 9/19 are now not showing as shipping until November.

Wow. Thats really bad. Back in the day, I dropped ATT because I couldn't make a phone call from middle of the street in Kansas City. Now I make calls in the middle of the street.

Sweet!!! Getting 64 GB 6+. Just got charged and now my status says its processing. Anyone who has had this happen, about how quick did you get the email stating it had shipped. No tracking info anywhere yet.

For 10/7 people:

Terrall from online chat just told me that 10/7 is the backorder date, and it is possible they will get phones in before then, and they will go out in order of the queue.

Sounds basically like what I had been thinking all along, and that the phones may come earlier but 10/7 is a worst-case scenario. His answer was vague enough to be plausible

Verizon charged my card and status changed

Well, within the last hour that I just posted my status and situation, similar to many, I noticed that the status has changed to "processing to check tomorrow" for more info. Also went to my AMEX and saw that instead of the $1.00 pre-auth charge that's been there since I ordered it, it now shows the total full amount that I paid for my 6+. For me, that's promising. Hopefully good news for all you other early birds like me in the post that set their alarms (like I did) or stayed up to be among the first. Definitely put a smile on my face with the possibility of getting my phone Friday.

Mine is finally moving along! Sorry, but I cannot remember what time Verizon finally let me in (sometime around 3:20).
Here are my details:
Order Status - Sent for processing
Charged? - Yes, charged to my Chase credit card
Phone - 6+, 64gb, silver
Account - New customer
I had a temporary authorization of $0 on my card for about 6 hours on Friday and it disappeared and nothing has been seen on there until now. My e-mail confirmation said 9/19, so it looks good!
