VZW Order Status Thread

Preorder is just like getting in line at a physical location, except you don't have to stand in the rain or feel like you've wasted all that time in line waiting to know if they will even have enough stock to make it worth the time.
ATT wasn't the only online vendor taking orders. A ton of the people in this thread ordered from Verizon right when sales began. So your argument is highly irrational, as you said yourself. Thanks for trolling.
Starting to lose hope lol... ordered my iphone 6+ gold128 gb 10 minutes after release... got my 9/19/14 confirmation e-mail but that's it. No order status online minus it's being processed... and no charge on CC. 
I ordered the iPhone 6, 64gb, space gray. Ended up going over the phone at around 3:30 since I wanted the $60 single line plan and that wasn't an option online. Got my tracking number Sunday from FedEx says delivery Friday. I'm a new customer and I have to say I'm already impressed with Verizon. The lady on the phone was very helpful and the order process was super smooth. I was on T-Mobile before (leaving for poor service in my area) and the ordering for the 5s last year was less than stellar. After hearing about all the problems they had this year I definitely would've been annoyed. I'm almost just as excited to have good service in my area as I am for the new phone.

Mine wasn't charged til about 1 this morning. There's still time. It seems like the 128's are getting filled last. You'll probably be fine.

Talked to VZW
Just got off the phone with a VZW rep and was given very specific and disappointing information.
While I did not write down the exact time frames, the comment went something like this:
Phones ordered between 12:01am and 12:34am will be delivered on 9/19
Phones ordered between 12:35am and 1:46am will be delivered by 9/25
Phones ordered between.......
Again, those were not the exact times and delivery dates, but it was all very specific and they knew who was going to have what delivered when.
They said that they were surprised by the interest in the new release. Apparently so was Apple...

Again, completely invalid information. There are 18 different Verizon models, so this theory they are telling you is false. Sad that people actually believe them. LOL
Idk how true that is mine was ordered about 3:05 and mine says 10/7 for 64gb gold iphone plus

* Preorder confirmation received at 11:59PM on Sept 11th, indicating a "Deliver By" date of 9/19
* My card has still not been charged at the time of writing
The order status page shows:
Code:We received your order and it is in process. Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time.
Hoping that I do not get screwed on my 9/19 delivery
Same exact situation here; same model, same location, order number 89xxx. Placed order at 11:59PM PST 9/11. Got email confirmation that minute. I'm not worried, however. I think the email confirmation date provided will bear out and all of this gyrating will be for naught.
Have any of your phones left Memphis yet? Mine is still sitting in their Memphis facility since Saturday night.

I ordered a 64GB + gold and still nothing here either.
We've heard similar things reported but they all seem to differ.
Also, Apple et al say they are surprised by demand on every single launch. I'm not sure why it hasn't sunk in for them yet. My guess it's a way to cover the fact that there were production issues with the plus. Companies don't like to admit when they have problems.
I preordered through "edging up" around 3am Friday and it went through fine. Card was charged a couple days ago and got shipping info Saturday for delivery 9/19. This is for a gray 64gb iPhone 6.
As I said, the numbers I gave were not exact. They were just an example. I didn't write them down at he time. The rep was very specific though, in when orders were taken and when those orders are expected to deliver.
Nope, mine is in Memphis too since Saturday. I'm sure they'll start to move in 2-3 days, if not Thursday at the latest so they're already at the local hub for loading Friday.
