Is it a bad thing that every year that an iPhone is released I enjoy watching people freaking out on these forums over whether or not they may have to wait an extra day or two for their phone as if it is Armageddon? I also wonder why and find it entertaining that people will keep bugging customer service reps (often multiple times a day) to try and get one to say it will be there on the 19th when the reps often really have no clue. I feel bad for the reps this time of year... Imagine working an 8 hour shift and having to deal with dozens of impatient customers whom will cease to exist and switch carriers if they have to wait an extra 5 minutes to get their phone. Don't get me wrong I am very excited to get my phone (currently slated to ship 10/14) but it will get here when it gets here. I will leave VZW customer service alone and go on with my life until the phone arrives. There is no reason to panic, get worried, be concerned, etc. The phone will arrive eventually. Apple can't produce 10 million phones in a week.
Starting to lose hope lol... ordered my iphone 6+ gold128 gb 10 minutes after release... got my 9/19/14 confirmation e-mail but that's it. No order status online minus it's being processed... and no charge on CC.
I know I read awhile back that a few of you were inquiring about picking up the package at a FedEx location and thought it wasn't possible but it is!
How fast can they make 10 million iPhones for the first week of sales? Most people are patient and don't obsess over instant gratification. Apple is a business and need to protect themselves as well and can't over produce and at the same time can only make so many phones at a time. They are working to get tens of millions of phones across the world in one month time. Logistics has limits. They couldn't feasibly have 10 million iPhones ready to go for preorders while supplying thousands of stores in The USA and prepping to do the same all over the world. Cut them some slack and be patient. It will come eventually
