Just wanted to do my part and update you guys on my order. Thanks to everyone that has been sharing their order status and experience, makes the waiting a lot easier

I don't know why but when it comes to these product launches my patience goes out the window real quick.

Email 1 : 12:09AM PDT "Your order is on Hold" (Reference Number, Location Code, No Order Number)
Email 2 : 8:16AM PDT "Your order is on Hold" (Order Number is included now)
Call : 9:15AM PDT I call into customer service to ask about "order being on hold", rep. confirms some information and says your order is now confirmed, that I should receive confirmation/shipping information email soon (I haven't received any emails from Verizon since then). I did ask the rep. since I didn't call in immediately after I received the "order on hold" email (I went to bed), will I still get to keep my place in the pre-order line, she said yes, but I wasn't really expecting that would happen, since I didn't call in till so many hours later and with such a high volume pre-order launch they wouldn't favor orders that didn't get confirmed immediately.
Order Status : Checked on Verizon's order status page with reference number and it stated "we have received your order..." and expected delivery date was 10/21/2014. So I figured calling in late did push me back to the end of the line.
All the information above hasn't changed since Friday, just checked order status few moments ago and the information layout changed and now it says "Order being processed" and there is a spot for tracking number. Went and checked my Discover Card activity and Verizon has charged me for the phone.
So hoping I get a actual email from Verizon soon with tracking information. Hope this information is helpful to someone else.
