Just more proof that Verizon has no idea what's going on.

Delivery date when order placed was 9/19.
Email confirmation said 10/14.
Website shows no shipping info available at this time.

Called Verizon on Friday evening as I was confused by the discrepancy. Was told shipping on 9/19 and not to worry.

Checked my credit card today and saw no charge. In the past couple years I have always been charged by the following Monday. Call Verizon to make sure it's not on hold. Not on hold but was told it won't come earlier than 10/14. The guy said he had no idea why I was told it would come earlier.

Meanwhile, a coworker of mine that ordered the same 16gb 6+ in gray 30 minutes after me has been charged and has his shipping info.

Blown away, I just don't get it.

Same here. 16GB space grey 6+ ordered right after 3am EDT. Said 9/19 delivery when ordered. Email confirm around 3:30am said 10/14. No delivery date information available on the preorder page, no credit card charge, no anything.

I would take that with a grain of salt... the customer support people are the "bottom feeders" on the verizon food chain. They are not provided with a lot of accurate information.

I think the other people who's orders are "pushed back" is because they ordered later in the pre-sale. Just go by what your email confirmation told you, not the update online.

My email states 9/19, online it's been 9/19, 10/7, 10,24 and unavailable.
Yep, I'll stick to what the e-mail tells me!

What's funny is if you look back at the past pre-sale threads, they are all the same complaints, tension, worries, anxiety, etc...

I think everyone is just super anxious to get their hands on the new phone and I'm sure if you were told a certain delivery date, there is no reason why you shouldn't trust that date!

People with ship by 9/19 should be fine. The ones who should be worried are the 10/17 10/14 people. When I got my confirmation with 10/14 I was hopeful that the date would be moved up but that looks like it's not happening  looks like I am waking up early on Friday.

Exactly. I wish Verizon would change the wording so people would stop getting worked up about this every year. I also wish they would educate their reps but I want to keep my hopes reasonable.

Your date got pushed back? That's what I'm wondering is happening to mine as it said 10/14 but that's gone.

They should be told to just say, "A confirmation email has/or will be sent to you with all the details..."

I hate it when they try to fill in the blanks!

I Just Called Verizon on the charge thing. Basically, If your card was charged, your phone is being shipped. if not. your still in processing. Verizon sez they will not charge you credit/debit card until the day of shipping.

I got charged Saturday night but no shipping info yet.

Welp. There goes my hope.

Just got an e-mail saying my order has been canceled.

Still don't know the reason either.
