I only called to make sure there was no error with my order. I thought they would at least know that. The guy sounded like my phone should have shipped and was asking me all these questions about did I accept the terms, did I get any other emails, etc. amazing, lol

Just called again, they verified that they did re-open my order. Maybe you should call another rep.
Also, you have a tracking number. It has a physical device attached to it. I'm betting you actually receive the device.
Edit: Oh yeah, I also got the cancel e-mail. They told me to ignore it and that a new order was already in process. They gave me a confirmation number, but it appears to be the same as the original. We will see how it goes.
Yeah you will...bet you shipping info/tracking number pop up in the next 24 hours.
I don't know if it would be the last batch, but if you look through the 90 some-odd pages, it seems like all of these confirmations are coming from a Memphis dispatch location.
Possibly there not a need to process the SoCal orders so early... I am assuming I'll see some sort of activity by wednesday, giving 2 days to ship to my house.
Just an assumption, but I haven't read anyone from SoCal saying they have had their cards charged and tracking number issued.
So my "new" order said 10/28 earlier this morning but now that date is gone so I'm hoping that's a good thing
Nah I'm betting California shipping times are much shorter and they can ship out later but still arrive on the 19th.
Forgot to mention that the Verizon Rep said they don't ship any phones out until the 19th because that's when they get them.

I called because I wanted to make sure I didn't need to sign anything for the edge. First time using it and I didn't want a cancellation email over something like that. Anyways, the guy was arguing with me that my phone had shipped. I said no sir it hasn't. He replied with indeed it has. We went back and forth til finally he said, You're right that was another order. I don't know how that got there. LOL

They said that the EDGE system made a mistake and said I was not eligible, but they saw that I was opening a new line and that the cancellation was indeed a mistake.
I am betting if you word yours in a similar fashion you will get yours re-opened.
But who knows, someone has gotten theirs canceled 3 times, I just hope that does not happen with mine.
SoCal here, got my tracking number on Saturday for a 64gb 6plus space grey.

Remember, they know just as much as we do about the shipment dates!
I'm sure he knows that some phones have shipped... I'm sure over 90% of his calls have been about these pre orders.
I would hate to be a Verizon Customer Service Rep working on 9/19.... Imagine the amount of "where's my phone..." calls they are going to receive?
