yup! placed my order a little before midnight and got my confirmation email at 12:04 a.m.
SoCal person here. I ordered two iPhone 6 64 GB's around 12:15 p.m. PST on 9/12 and received the order confirmation email at 1:23 p.m. PST. I received a shipment confirmation email (FedEx) around 2:18 p.m. on 9/13, and my order is currently sitting in FedEx's Memphis DC
I can almost guarantee of you go to the store they will tell you they have no /or limited plus models before you even get in line.

Again, iPhone 6 not in demand. Most of us waiting ordered the 6+
i have the same thing on mine, I'm going to trust what the confirmation email states and watch my front door like a scavenger.
Only hope would be an Apple Store, carriers and other stores do get a very limited shipment. If you live in the middle of nowhere, where's there's not much demand, then maybe yeah.
A large Apple Store near me had the iPhone 4 the second day, with a huge line. I waited about 3 hours, day after launch and got.
But there is no way to predict, just have to wait and find out
Exactly the same situation here. Don't happen to be location W771001 by any chance?
I received a confirmation email as well... just no shipping/tracking info yet.

At least with the shipping companies you're given a tracking number... I would imagine the customer support people in general already hate their jobs, it'll just be magnified on Friday!

I don't know if this is really valid information but, I thought I would share with you all anyways.. I talked to two different online sales people through chat...
First Rep:
Julie: Will you add a new line or upgrade today?
Steve: Well, I preordered an Iphone 6+.. I was wondering if you could check on my shipping status for me..
Julie: It is on 09/19 for shipping.
Steve: My preorder with you is set to ship 9/19 now? Not 10/29?
Julie: Yes.
Steve: Thats what I wanted to hear. Thanks
Julie: Thank you for your business and for choosing Verizon Wireless! Is there anything else I can help with today?

Steve: I spoke to "Julie" and I asked her if she could check on my Iphone 6+ preorder and she told me it was guaranteed to ship fri... I asked her to check because I have another phone lined up 9/19 at a different provider if it isnt..
Steve: Could you please look into it for me?

Steve: 9/12
Gabriellah: It will be delivered on the 19th before 8PM.
Steve: Well that is great news.. But, my card has not been charged yet and it is still saying 10/29 in my verizon account info

I received my tracking number on Saturday at 5pm, they charged my card sometime in the morning. What did your delivery date state on your confirmation e-mail?
My FedEx tracking number automatically was added to the MyFedEx tracking (where shipments coming to my address are listed), so that sounds like MY phone, not YOURS
pre-sale confirmation stated delivery date: 9/19. Still waiting on tracking confirmation and cc charge. Much like everyone else.

None yet...credit card charged but still says check tmrw. I would imagine by tomorrow we should see something.

I have 4 Apple Stores within 15 miles of my house. I guarantee they will all have huge lines and limited supplies (especially the 6+) on 9/19. My only option of getting a phone on launch day was pre-sale. Hopefully it all works out as planed.
