Long story short, my order was cancelled (placed at 3:04am) because I didn't agree to the terms of service. I never received any indication (even after several calls to support and the lovely fraud department) that I needed to do this. After receiving the email that a new order has been placed, I call back in and ask why. This was the reason given and the new order would suffer the same unless I finished the order by agreeing to the terms of service. I asked where this was because I never got any indication to do so. She said online or over the phone. This time when logging into my account, I see it in big bold red letters to finish my order. So apparently Verizon's online order system was f'd and some are paying the price.
So I will be one of the lemmings in line in the middle of the night waiting at a Verizon store for the phone I already know they won't have, but I gotta try anyway.
