He might as well wait for the Mac Pro, lump them all together, and title it, "Pros on Pros".

:D

I don't think this one is coming. He's already reviewed the processors (i7-4950HQ, Iris Pro, we know the WiFi is fast from the MacBook Air and iMac, and the same goes for the PCIe storage; there isn't much else to review on top of all the other reviews already out there. The new release frankly isn't much of a difference like it was last year when Apple introduced the Retina display on the Mac.

You could be right, especially about the 15" rMBP.

As far as I know, till now, Engadget hasn't made a Haswell 15" review and neither MobileTechReview. Though both have made a 13" rMBP Haswell review.

Man, I sure wish Anand would hurry it up...

Like, how else am I supposed to know the computer I bought last month is any good??? :p

It's not. It sucks </troll> :p

In all seriousness though, at the end of the day the rmbp is a pretty decent machine, no matter what the reviews says. When it comes down to it it's all about how you feel about it, and whether it fits your needs, not what some review says.

Anand's been travelling a lot lately, hence the delay in the review. It's coming and will feature both 13" and 15" models.

Why do people prefer this persons reviews so much? Just curious as I don't know much about him.

The 2013 rMBA has been out for some time now and it's very similar to all the other rMBA's (except the new, well known architecture).

He goes into an exquisite level of detail in his reviews, but instead of it being super heavy on tech jargon, he also writes things in English where possible. Additionally, he's good at sleuthing out individual issues related to performance, which is a stark contrast to the cursory write-ups a lot of sites do.

Anand is just the most likeable journalistic-tech guy I have ever seen/read:D

This is Anand speaking here. The new rMBP sucks, you should get rid of it immediately by sending yours to me for free. :p

3rd TIME IN THIS THREAD: DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHICH 13-INCH RMBP WILL ANAND BE REVIEWING??

I could not highlight this more I guess, I hope somebody would reply now.

The late-2014 model, which is forecast to come out 8 weeks after the review on the late-2013 15" model.

Am I the only one that think it reflects bad on Anandtech that they haven't had a review? For such a well-respected source to not have a review on such a hot item, it seems to discredit them or make them seem a bit small-time. Oh well. Just a thought. On the other hand, I don't really care. :D
