It would be great if the new rMBP:s shows up on the keynote, but a small part of me hope they don't just to see how far we can push this thread
Also, a question, how important is a discrete graphics card for a amateur photographer like me? I use Aperture to do a bit of editing of my raw files.
Does apps like Aperture and Photoshop benefit from discrete graphics in the same way as 3D modeling software like Maya and Cinema 4d does?
Actually, Aperture and Photoshop would benefit more from Iris Pro, as the OpenCL performance of Iris Pro is waaaay better than Nvidia's dGPU's (probably because of the 128MB L4 cache).
So Photoshop users (and users of other OpenCL-enabled apps) would benefit more from an Iris Pro.
