Waiting for Haswell MBP Mega Thread

A touch up of their current design wouldn't do any harm to be honest..as long as it's new and fresh. Since alot of other companies have "copied" the aluminium theme on the notebooks it would be cool if Apple did something to stand out once again, like they previously did :)
 
What I really would love is a retina MBA.
But it will never happen this october...

I mean, a rMBA and rMBP may live toghether: consumer and professional, battery life and raw power, they are complementary products...

Ah and obviously a rMBA would be cheaper than rMBP

Yeah, the one that still hurts is 1989. We went into the final round 11-0. Undefeated and Pat Riley worked them to hard in practice and Magic and Byron Scott pulled hamstrings. The Pistons swept us but if we had Magic the history would be recorded differently.

That was one year before I got my first Mac

Toronto needs more Apple stores. There are 4 Apple stores in Toronto, and none of them are close to Scarborough. I've never even been to one of the Toronto Apple stores. The only Apple store I've been to is the on in Miami.:cool: I've been looking on Apple's website, and the Sherway Gardens Apple store looks pretty cool in the picture on the website. It has a giant Retina MacBook Pro!

We've got 10 Apple stores within 30 miles of my house, including 2 within walking distance. If I was from somewhere else I would plan a vacation to LA just to tour the Apple stores. Blessed I am. And I'm not kidding, I honestly feel for the people on this forum who don't have an Apple store anywhere near them. To have to live in a state or country without an Apple store is a TRAVESHAMOCKERY

Hey Maple Man, how was the food in Miami? That's some good Cuban cuisine down there
 
Here's what I think is going to happen

October 8- Invites to October 15 event?
October 15- Event? New iPads-Yes, New MacBook Pro?-Maybe, New Mac Pro?-Likely, OS X Mavericks Release Date?-Possibly
October 22- If no release on October 15, then likely on this day.
 
Theres like, not really much to guess... its pretty much the only possibility out of like 2 lol.

Let's just be a little more optimistic:

October 8 - silent upgrade of MBPr to Haswell running Mountain Lion
October 15 - invite to the Event
October 22 - Event with Mavericks release (downloadable for free the same day), multicoloured iPad mini with Retina, MacPro, Mac Mini, iPad 5 with IGZO...

Now how about that? Who'll be looking up the Applepage on Tuesday?
I know I will. Just in case.

That's pretty nice. How come Apple can't understand that since Toronto is the 3rd or 4th (I don't remember) largest city in North America, it deserves some more Apple stores. The food was pretty good Midnight Rambler, I was there last year. I'm not too sure what I ate though :D

Well, there's the third possibility...It doesn't get released. And if it doesn't get released in October then it won't get released until 2014. And if THAT happens, then I'm convinced that they are waiting for IGZO

Well, as a Leafs fan, last year in Game 7 against the Bruins was pretty bad, Leafs were winning 4-1 going into the third period, and you probably know the rest.

why would they go through all the trouble of getting ML to run on the retina haswell when 10.9 comes out the following week?
