Recently, rumors have been swirling about the inclusion of 4G/LTE connectivity in the new Macbook Pros.
The top Apple speculators tend to fall on the "not in the Haswells" side of the controversy, but it's anyone's guess at this point.
With the Macbook media event only hours away, where do you stand on this issue?
Edit: The Apple Store is down, including the Macbook Pro section! That's as close as we've ever been to an outright confirmation of the Haswells.

semi-OT: Does anyone know of any tricks to watch the keynote on a windows platform? I mean i have an ipod, but a 15inch screen would be slightly better 😛

Its like that for the iPod classics too. So I don't think it says much.
live.twit.tv always has a live stream, but they give a commentary. I don't know about anything else though.

What they mean is that editing is temporarily unavailable. You can't edit and create documents _right now_. In a few hours edit functionality will be back.
In June I spilt a glass of red wine over my MacBook Pro and it sadly died. Since then I've been holding out for the new model to be released before replacing it as I really wanted better battery life and performance. The wait has nearly killed me, but fingers crossed it'll all be resolved today. Thanks for everyone's updates and posts that have kept me strong along the way (I did look at an Air once).

When the Apple Store is down, it's always completely down. So even if they only update the iPads, the MacBook section is down.
It has been down many times since this thread started... 🙄
i know i might just be being helplessly hopeful. but if they are only going to update the haswell processor, without changes in overall design, or screen, why did it take 4 to 5 months longer than the MBA?
What else can be changed in the rMBP anyway?

Im guessing that means that I cant watch it on my PC? Is there anywhere else that I might be able to go and watch it?

No iphone or ipods? Otherwise I believe there are some workarounds on how to watch it on a pc..
