....sigh
I'm not a fanboy.
I honestly don't care at all which brand Apple decide to use, as long as it's good for us customers.
I'm just trying to be realistic about what could happen with the next MBP.
Do we have the slightly tiny sign of Apple using a Nvidia GPU (which by the way is still too powerful for MBP necessity, and downclocked would become useless?)?
No.
More probably it will be more as KirekkusuPT say:
Still, as no one of us has the smallest idea of which GPU Apple will choose, I'm just hoping for that, by rumors, that seems better.
It seems to me, dear @snc, that you are a huge Nvidia fanboy, always praising Nvidia results and despising AMD.
I'm actually fine with that.
I don't care.
But please, again, if we want to discuss something, let's discuss at least about something we have a minimum of informations about. Let's do it with logic. Like this damn old eternal "waiting Kaby Lake" loop.
I'm becoming tired of all this...
No, they are talking about 2018 and on. Skylake rMBPs coming next month according to reliable sources (Ming, and Gurman).
I Never, Never backup to the cloud. I keep all my iOS devices backups local on my MBP.
Really sad when LG puts them in their great big TVs. WTF.Alright a quick question. I know none of us know. But when do you guys think Apple will introduce a full OLED screen? If the iPhone is 2017, then iPad rumoured to 2018, then I'm sure it could be 2019. Or perhaps even the next refresh?
Guys do you think that other than the spec bump, will there be a price bump also, while lowering the price of the current MBP and wiping off the superdrive MBP completely? If so, for what figures are we talking about, given that they're currently at $1299/£999?

Thanks Serban! I'm glad you're backNext month new MBP will be released with Skylake, dGPU, up to 32GB RAM DDR4 2133MHz, 1TB SSD, OLED touch bar, USB-C etc...
In the meantime i suggest to Tim Cook and company to read this and take inspiration:

Never gone. Joking is really a pleasure. Thanks Serban! I'm glad you're back![]()
I see you've quoted a figure in pounds. Dont know where you are but I would imagine there will be a price bump in the UK due to the poor performance of the pound. The new iPhone was £80 more expensive than the 6s when you compare the mid tier models (64 gb 6s vs 128gb 7) I think i'm right in saying there was no price increase on the 4.7 model in the US.
Going to be honest, I'm bracing myself for eye watering UK pricing.![]()
Sorry but Apple boosts prices for iPhone and other products in Europe...
yes, ad-language. i know how both work, so what?Hahaha ad language. I'm sure you know how LCDs are not real LEDs, therefore the brightness is lower, and yes you can discern between the two.
So when I said a "true LED viewing experience", it's the truth, not ad-language. LCD has been a lesser and duller experience because it's LED Backlit, in comparison to OLED, which is you looking at the LEDs and not the LCD crystals, thus more brighter accurate images. The organic material allows for dark areas to remain "off" thus higher contrast than LCD. OLED would allow for better viewing experiences and better production of video.i
Though I'm not fully onboard with OLED, as burnin is still a issue, and Lenovo recently released an OLED display laptop, so we'll see that fares.
Honestly I would prefer microLED over OLED, but who knows when will that mature by.
So the new MBP stays at $1299 in America?
There's no Thunderbolt in that MacBook OOP...If the Macbook launched with a Skylake processor earlier in the year, have there been a lot of firmware updates to address discovery of ongoing problems?
Yes, I'm sorry if I'm unable to make myself clear, as I'm not a native speaker, but I would like to know if there are rumours regarding a price bump for the late 2016 Macbook Pro. Is it staying at $1299?13 rMBP starts at $1299...

Thank you very much for getting back to meSorry i don't know...
I spoke with an Apple store employee earlier this week and she had no idea the Macs were getting a refresh
Are you perhaps suggesting the lack of ports on the macbook might have a Skylake explanation? There's no Thunderbolt in that MacBook OOP...
There could be a correlation to problems or bugs...Are you perhaps suggesting the lack of ports on the macbook might have a Skylake explanation?
Check this out:Or in the case of Thunderbolt ... 6-7 years and still waiting.

Hate it or not - isn't the MBA the most selling Mac, and the iMac the favoured child of Apple?
Does have Apple have anything TV wise for the ATV (or hevc in A10?)
Least Tim has intimated that there's something Mac coming. Maybe journalists will actually pin down Apple about wth has been going on mac wise.
