"The all new iPad-Pro comes with a lightning port only, because you know, courage. We've decided to make the smart keyboard consist of touch-enabled buttons that don't actually click, instead we use a taptic engine in each key. It'll sell for just 299. "So? The point is to educate people about the age of the rMBP. So you're saying Apple shouldn't sell outdated technology, but a 3rd party retailer is ok? Unless it's marked below Apple's ludicrous pricing, this is completely warranted.

Can you imagine though: "for our pro consumers we have an all new iPad Pro" *
*The day Armageddon started.
Sounds like they have got the 13 inch MacBook mixed up with the 13 inch Pro if true. Can't see them making so much differentiation between the 13 and 15 inch Pros, also fairly sure the leaked chasis was a 13 inch and had 4 USB C ports.
Only one more week people.
I think you mean the MacBook Air?
A Kaby Lake MBA with Skylake rMBP, the latter with TouchID and the TouchBar, would fit both the chassis leak and Intel's roadmap.
Calling it now the Mac Mini and Mac Pro are dead.

Well there has been rumours of a bigger 13 inch version of the MacBook. Think it was Ming Chi Quo?
Once Apple simplifies their product line
Take a look at lenovo's, dell's, asus'es or some other manufacturers product line and compare the simplicity of apple's to the alternatives... It's stupid simple already. Other manufacturers really need to work on that.
Best Buy just dropped the price of the Apple TV to $100. Possible link to an October hardware event?
I am a dillema
should i just wait for the new macbook pro 15 or get an iMac.
I do not really care about portability tbh since the laptop/imac will always stay at home. I currently have a mac 13 but its rally old and its not much time left imo
i start uni next week so need a new computer for my course
Apple TV will get an update when Apple starts streaming 4K via iTunes. Problem is that I wouldn't hold my breath for it. Could happen next year though.Best Buy just dropped the price of the Apple TV to $100. Possible link to an October hardware event?
I have a macbook pro 2012 i think...it works and all that but starting a law degree so wanted a new laptop to start with. i don't plan to take my laptop to uni though....i have an iPad and plus i prefer to make notes at uni with my hand...i take information in better that way. still people are saying its better to get a macbook pro.No. It's just a sale, they do those on occasion. They don't know anything, and I highly doubt the AppleTV will get an update.
If you really don't need portability, an iMac is much more bang for your buck. Just don't get one with a hard drive. I can't imagine not having a laptop in college, though.
What model laptop do you have? If it's a MBP, it's pretty easy to install a new battery and SSD.
If you were to get the 27inch i mac.....which one would you get as there are different prices for the 27inch.

The retailer is just as much as "victim" of the outdated MBP's as we are. They can't do anything about it either. Apple on the other hand at least could've introduced some price cuts or whatever. If you do this at a third party retailer, you're fighting the wrong people. So? The point is to educate people about the age of the rMBP. isn't the iMacs even being updated this month lol along with the macbook pro's? So I am still going to have to wait lolYou should get at least the middle one because of the much better hard drive (fusion drive is a lot faster than standard hard drive) but the 2TB Fusion drive has a lot more fast storage than the 1TB. So I would suggest the middle one with a 2TB fusion drive or the most expensive version with the 2TB which is 100 dollars more but with better graphics card and processor.
okay thanksI'd get the middle model with the Fusion drive. Can't imagine using a Mac these days with a Hard Drive. Apple needs to stop selling them...
