Dude, I'm sorry but this is just ********.

Any of the things you supposedly deny are just words without anything behind.

I say Apple was late on USB3, you say me "no they weren't". You don't check ANY of the thing you say.
I'll bump on this one in particular, and you can check all the others yourself, I'm done wasting time.

- MBP with USB3 has been released mid 2012.
- First HP laptop with USB 3 : January 2010. First Dell : February 2010.

It's 2 years and a half before Apple. Similarly, all the rest of your "rebuttals" are ********, but I won't waste anymore time on you.
I'm not sure why you want to defend the outdated and overpriced hardware that is shipped at every iteration, but whatever.

Apple has never been the first with "cutting edge tech", their stuff is refinement and user experience. If you want the latest and greatest you'll have to look elsewhere, Apple doesn't serve your demographic. As simple as that. You find that Apple's hardware choices are lacking? Well....
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

P.S. Before anyone dares to even suggest I'm completely ok with what they are doing with the 15" Haswell rMBP in 2016, I'm absolutely against that ****

...Which is exactly what I demonstrated to this other user who said that Apple is in fact the first with best CPU/GPU/RAM/ hard drive / SSD / etc etc.
Not sure what your point is.

their stuff is refinement and user experience.

How exactly does one excludes the other ? You could have that, and reduce your margin a bit so people don't have to update that often.
Not to mention that the user experience of taking 10-12 times more time to transfer files on an HDD isn't exactly formidable UX.
And neither is buying an expensive laptop for working (again, I'm not the guy writing his blog in a café, I actually work and code on that machine...) and find it slow because you have 50 tabs open and a server or 2 running.

About that Thunderbolt Display...it better be OLED, cause otherwise it'll be outdated in about 2 years, unless Apple plans to update it every year - which is very unlikely.
It won't be OLED. Good thing we don't have to wait long to finally find out. :)

Just because Apple wasn't the first company to include usb 3.0 in their product doesn't make them late.

Apple is usually never to be the first company to include a new technology in their devices.
But Apple certainly isn't late to the game when it comes to new technology.

They adopt new technology when they become main stream, or a little before they become mainstream.
Which is exactly where a consumer would want them to be.

I am stand by what I said. That when Apple ships new Macs, they are up-to-date and not overpriced. And some of the best hardware available on the market.

Presumably this means a beta will reveal the existence of the bar and ID?

Will the new entry-level Macbook Pro work seamlessly with the 5K USB-C Apple Display?

Almost definitely.

I have already tested the Iris 550 with a 4k Display and it runs great. It should handle 5k as well.
That is for web browsing, video playing, development, etc.

For video/photo editing the 13" model will probably struggle at 5k.
But Polaris int he 15" should handle it.

This already happened with the Sierra betas.

yes, and we thank GOD that apple adopt the new technology when its mature enough and without issues...like first usb 3.0 or first skylake cpu and so on..

What ? Apple went to usb 3.0 as soon as the others did.

....Seriously dude ? Literally ignoring a 2 years and a half difference ? Documented ? With a link ?
Anyway as I say, not worth spending the time to link you to more examples.

I didn't ignore anything.
I did not deny that Apple, that apple isn't the first to adopt new technology.

MacRumors has learned that Apple is indeed moving rapidly toward a launch of the new MacBook Pro models, with the company's current development work on macOS 10.12.1 focused largely on preparing the operating system to support the updated hardware's new features, which have been rumored by several sources to include Touch ID support and an OLED "touch bar" replacing the current row of function keys across the top of keyboard. Apple is also said to be shifting to "Polaris" graphics chips from AMD on the higher-end 15-inch models.
Edit: lol Rob and I thinking the same thing
