Today, nothing have changed yet.
The 21.5" iMac still sports the fifth generation Intel Broadwell.
The "new" 27" has Skylake but without TB3.
It took us courage to skip (for over an year) the updates of our entire computer line.
I'm pretty sure Apple still had "new" by some of them though, even with the "don't buy" on MacRumors. Pretty sure it was a subject of derision hundreds of pages ago.
Plot twist: rose gold will be the only option. Oled bar and the Apple logo on the back will be pink as well.

So earnings call moved to 10/25, which means that date is out for an event. And tomorrow... isn't happening.
That leaves 10/12 (a Wednesday because 10/10 is a US holiday), and 10/18 for possible October dates. The likely invite window for 10/12 has passed, so 10/18 seems the most likely at this point.
Or it could be press release in which case all bets are off.

Well if they aren't related I'd hope *finally* that at least one analyst grills Tim about Macs not being updated.

I recall on the last call the analyst tried to get some infos, Tim actually said "we don't provide details on future plans" or something to that effect, so he's shut them down before and won't hesitate to do it again.
Maybe if everyone on the call tries to get info but lets face it, they won't. It's not the iPhone golden nugget.
I want to know what other people think about the conference call being moved to Tuesday, and what that means about the event.
I'm more likely to doubt that it'd be a small event. I mean, Ming-Chi did say the MBP as the highlight of Apple's 2016 rollouts.

That'd actually make up for such a long delay between updates. Makes me believe (I know it's not true though) that they actually pay attention to us and I haven't been toiling away my life here instead of actually contributing to society :-(

If thats true, then maybe they are scheduling the event for Thursday the 27th and moved the earnings call forward due to that
