I thought you were jokingly saying that because we are on page 1080. hahahGTX 1080 confirmed

Yep. After their somewhat poor performance last year and earlier this year, Apple needs as much good news as possible to keep their stock going in the right direction.
I'd say if they don't do it on the 13th (which would be preferable), then they should reveal it no later than Tuesday the 18th and release it on Friday the 21st which will give them the chance to add launch day sales to their investor meeting. Holding the event after the investor meeting seems like a wasted opportunity. Looking back at their October keynote history, it looks like Apple definitely seems to prefer Tuesdays.
October 13th would be nice but realistically, if we really are getting an event this month, I'd almost be willing to bet money that we'll see invites go out next week for an event on October 18th. I guess we'll see if I'm right pretty soon.
Time will tell brotha, time will tell.Someone on another forum made a good point that Apple likely prepares for and knows far in advance which dates they will hold events. Therefore, its unlikely that they would slip up and set their earning call meeting on the same date as a product reveal. So I'm thinking the "scheduling conflict" might not have anything to do with the Mac event.

Thanks.
You are probably right.
Couldn't the event also be the day before earnings call. On Monday the 24th?
Smart man!Too much speculation and headache in this thread lately. I'm hibernating once again till next week
He was. But he wasn't joking.
That was the deal we made with Tim.

That just adds more fuel to my October 18th theory.
I have plenty of distractions but none seem to be working.........Someone please distract me until next week.
Oh, we'll find a way to pass the time. I know it seems far away, but the wait shortens by the minute...Someone please distract me until next week.
When this thread is over, it would be cool to have a datatable showing different books you could of read instead, depending on what page you started reading.
Confirmed re MBP: it will have a keyboard, a screen and a trackpad.
I heard it picks up on tongue movements.
Clearly you've not been selected a loyal servant of the Mac Underworld, my dear fellow.
I actually started reading the bible! I am on Genesis 40:1! N.F.Lie...When this thread is over, it would be cool to have a datatable showing different books you could of read instead, depending on what page you started reading.
I was here since about 130 probably could of read the Bible as equivalent already.
