I recommend the new SanDisk 128GB Dual USB C and USB A 3.0 flash drive. It's a lot better.

I am looking at that one, I would believe you in that it appears that it is probably more reliable and likely better in function so I get where you are coming from, but I just cant handle the looks of it. I definitely care a lot about the form on my comp. suite. I am going to try to abandon USB A in one fell swoop this month no looking back.

just because there are no invites today or anytime this week does not mean we are not getting new macbook pros. we still got till october 31st for a press release, after that and there is still nothing then you can become depressed.

(so we'll meet tomorrow for the invites, guys! Right?! Right?! right?.... @RIGHT?)

I'm sure this has been discussed ad nauseam somewhere else, but will all the iOS products continue to ship with legacy USB cables once every portable mac product ships only with USB-C? I guess I am going to have to get use to a fist full of dongles anyway, so why worry about it.

What ? is this serious ? If it is, it means Jony Ive is saying we are in a fix yet about which video card to include and hence we cannot release the new MacBook ! What the ****

I ended up selling the MacBook Air that I bought for $340 for $500. I just hope that they come out with new MacBook Airs soon so I can justify selling it because for $340 I wanted to keep it, but also wanted to make the $160. Will the MacBook Airs (new ones) have Skylake maybe? Or what is the rumor on that?

I don't expect an invite before Thursday for a 27th October event. If we don't see an invite in two days, the event is out of the window. A silent release of the MacBook Pro would still be a possibility though.

Nothing is impossible until we reach the end of October. Then we're screwed.

My goodness. Chaos with the Apple products has reached the point where people are making a profit off the black market. Power to you!!!

I don't think there ever was a rumor about a Skylake Air. The only reason that particular rumor is circulating is because it just seems to be the next logical step. If Apple is continuing to sell Airs they should have somewhat upgraded processors. I mean, why not?

The OLED bar seems like such a long persistent rumor on the 15" MBP, and I feel like that's going to be in the new 15" MBP. If that is the case, IMO there is almost a zero % chance that this will be released withouts some fanfare/event. An invite between today and Thursday is highly likely and will confirm the speculation.

I'm just interested in actual releases, this 'omg polaris, omg what bout kaby lake lololol' is getting pretty old :/
