Good catch. I'm sticking to the same prices with $100 knocked off from what I originally said, as mattsasa suggested. Makes more sense and I can be happily surprised if they are cheaper.

I don't expect a shift in the 15" model. They pulled the discrete gpu from the $2000 one. I haven't looked at intel's pricing on mobile cpus recently, but the past 2 generations have been fairly stable. What do you expect to drive up the price?
 
If I google MacBook Pro and click news, every single page quotes an October release, it's only on here where people are adamant it's not happening and it'll be pushed to 2017🙄y'all need to calm down and just wait. We are literally hours away from invites:apple:

90% of the Google News section posts are reiterations from clickbait sites that would say anything, not original opinions. Probably a few are legitimate, then the majority of the posts are from iTech Post, University Herald, Parent Herald, Tech Times, blah blah
