I never wanna hear 'Apple doesn't care about Mac, it's phasing it out' again.. straight from Mark the Messiah Gurman
"While Apple mainly relies on sales of the iPhone, the Mac line remains a key component of the business. Macs made up more than 10 percent of 2015 revenue, the second-largest source of sales. In the most-recent quarter, Mac revenue continued to outpace iPad sales, showing resiliency in a category that some analysts have said would be cannibalized by tablets."
You wasted your question on that? Everybody expected them.
You make it out like he's a genie and I only get 3 questions :rolleyes:I've spoken with him numerous times over the years:)

So I'm guess I'm going to have to return the HP Omen I got with a GTX 1070 in it. It sure it nice running Overwatch in 4K, but of course Windows 10 scales so badly with 4K which is an issue for me.

Any rumors on the GPU we'll get in the 2016 MBP?
Whatever GPU we get, I guarantee it won't come anywhere close to the 1070.

Geesh, I really have got to retire my late 2013. These things get old.....quick.

Or maybe i'm just a gear addict? Who knows. :D

Anyways, this is some serious upgrading folks. For the Big boys and girls. No more little cutesy watches and dainty phones. Serious gear here. :D

Next week has the potential to be one of the best weeks this year if Apple doesn't screw it up. I just hope that they:

1. Make it available the next day.

2. Keep the base price $1400 or below. (the current MacBook is $1300 so I wouldn't be surprised to see Apple either lower the price of the MacBook or raise the price of the Pro. It doesn't make since having them at the same price point like they are now).

3. 256gb SSD and 16gb Ram standard on all models.

Knowing Apple we'll probably see 2 of these but not all 3.

Now that all the ports are apparently REALLY narrow USB-C, I'm wondering how for the they will take 'thin' this time

what would you guys consider to be "Acceptable" specs? What specs would really impress you (within realistic expecations)?.

13 in. gold. oled display. p3 display, new keyboard, thinner, 10 hr battery, 8gb ram, 256gb ssd, 4 usb c, no backlit apple logo, idgaf processor but has to be 28w. $1499 with 100 dollars off student discount. and I want it now.
