That looks like

I personally can't imagine a pink MBP. but if it's only matte black and silver.
I hope they're going to be unapologetically plastic and then I want fire engine red.

Linus gonna be pleased, i wish apple have something against that beast, i love the screen and usb 3 ports
Thick but still pretty portable, but given how powerful it is definitely acceptable.

But don't worry though, Tim will tell you the iPad Pro is the only desktop you will need, it is even called Pro so you know it is powerful.

i mean if you buy applecare and want a new computer every 2-3 years it would be wise to go dgpu

Yeah apple care extended protection plan is a really good idea. I never have regretted it in the last 7 years.

In my case Applecare wouldn't have mattered. Apple extended the warranty for all early 2008 MBPs with the dGPU issue, with or without Applecare, because it knew about and admitted to the problem (eventually). In my case though, the "Geniuses" denied that my issues qualified under the extended warranty...basically they said it was something else on the logic board other than the dGPU that was failing. I don't know how they could make that determination when my issues were clearly graphics related; everything but the video would boot up fine.

It's gonna be sick when Timmy comes out and explains (or whomever) what the hold ups and deals are with these, very interesting!

Won't happen. The Apple Corporate Way™ is to never acknowledge negatives but to twist/rephrase/spin them into positives. Relentless positivity regardless of circumstance is the only thing the public ever sees.

Let's practice.

"We know it's been a while since we upgraded our Macs but we've been working hard on some new models and we think the wait will be worth it."

becomes:

"We at Apple are so proud of our industry-leading Macs and we've got some *incredible* new products that I *can't wait* to show you today."

Basically, the key to Apple/Tim-speak is to take whatever you thought was over-the-top positivity and turn it past 11 to the point of gut-wrenching nausea.

They're paid gazillions to sound ridiculous speaking like that.

Meanwhile the smaller one gets Kaby Lake.

And Razer Core. Now if Apple did a Razer Core... people might not grumble so much about the CPUs

Apple has never competed on price. They push their pricing just to before the breaking point of their customers.

They didn't have to complete on price when other laptops sucked. Now the others have coughed up. I can't see myself paying the Apple Tax this time unless the laptop can actually make me a coffee also

hopefully at the event they jump right into talking about the macbook pro

dont have to hear about iphone sales, apple store sales or demo some new game first

That happens approximately never.

20 minutes about ecology and Liam II
10 minutes about Apple Music growth and upcoming exclusives
20 minutes about Apple Watch Nike
10 minutes about new bands
10 minutes about iPad Pro Pro and iPad Mini Pro SE Plus
10 minute demonstration of Boulder Dash for iPad
10 minutes about Sierra
and then
5 minute intro movie about all Macs to date
5 minute senseless repeating of things from the movie and "we've got the best Macs we've ever made" and "something really big to show you"
10 minute talk about the actual Macs
5 minute movie by Jony about aluminium

finished with performance of "Bag It Up" by Geri Halliwell.

Which is exactly what I'll be saying when I'm picking up my new Macbook Pro.
That's why! I'm going to be channelling "Why" by Annie Lennox as I look at the miserable remains of my savings account.

My only hope is that they use the terrible rMB keyboard. That's what could stop me from buying. So you know what to do, Jony.

I have honestly never used the rMB's keyboard other than 2 seconds in an Apple store. What's so different about it?
