Possibly both just updated in June, I imagineDoes that mean 13 inch updated in March and 15 in June?

Razer said that their razer core works with other laptops that have thunderbolt 3.
Breaking news?
All 15" will have AMD Polaris dGPUs.
Still needs to be supported by OS X or work with the driver provided with Boot Camp. I am not sure Apple will hand it to you...that easily. You end up on the tonymacx86 forum to get it working.
I have discovered some time ago this very good forum.
I need to buy a laptop in very short time (about a week), and I am going to buy a macboopro. I have used a corporate macbook, but I have no more a corporate laptop. I am worried about buying a old "laptop". Anyway I'd like very much to have a better screen.
If you were me, how many days are you going to wait for a breaking news? I think I wait until the ending of CES.
I will play the waiting game![]()
You would be better off buying the current one. The chance of Apple anouncing the new rMBP this month is the same as hell freezing over. The most probable date is March, not June as others have been saying. An Intel launch during CES was improbable as I posted a few pages back. A lenovo with Iris Pro 580 was announced back in november with availability in Late January. Meaning that Intel will probably release the Iris Pro chips suitable for the new rMBP in mid-late January silently.I have discovered some time ago this very good forum.

Breaking news everyone:
http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2016...-core-mini-pc-with-iris-pro-and-thunderbolt-3
As expected, Skull Canyon is a Skylake 4+4e design, with a 45W TDP. This means that Iris Pro 580 chips should be available soon. Also means that the 13"rMBP wont have the Iris Pro 580 as suggested back in thread.
This doesn't mean that Apple will release it on January, March is most likely. Every analyst and rumor points to March so don't cancel your order expecting Apple to release a rMBP this month or in Feb.F**k me. Just ordered a '15 rMBP one hour ago
If you could predict whether the 13 inch gets upgraded which one is more likely, March or June? This doesn't mean that Apple will release it on January, March is most likely. Every analyst and rumor points to March so don't cancel your order expecting Apple to release a rMBP this month or in Feb.
The 13" can be updated this month if they wanted to (the chips are already available), but because a redesign is expected they will group it with the 15" (which chips are *yet* to be released) and present them on an event that has been rumored to happen in march. If you could predict whether the 13 inch gets upgraded which one is more likely, March or June?
Thanks, Im really hoping it comes out in MarchThe 13" can be updated this month if they wanted to (the chips are already available), but because a redesign is expected they will group it with the 15" (which chips are *yet* to be released) and present them on an event that has been rumoired to happen in march.
More news by March GDC on Iris Pro.
Guess Mac Pro would align more with WWDC (if AMD GPU refresh for Polaris is then)?
Shame the Skylake MBP refresh doesn't get the 14nm GPU refresh, so you'd have to wait for late 2016 at least for that (though it'd be Rev B so likely a bit more stable?)
That's about the NUC not the CPU itself. A lenovo announced in november with Iris Pro 580 is launching in Late January. They are discussing the NUC at GDC.OK guys... "Intel says we can expect more information (About Skylake-H NUC) in "Games Developer Conference" which is between 14-18 March...
I think we could see 13 inch announced in March-April event. But I think we won't see the 15 inch until June =(
I think they will release both at the same time in June. It doesn't make sense to release they at different times because if there is a redesign, releasing one before the other will be a major spoiler alert.OK guys... I admire your patience. hahaAnd hey, I've been waiting since april last year for a Skylake rMBP, june doesn't seem so far away now...![]()
