Anyway, rumors aside, how will I know the new MBPs will be available in store the next day? I don't exactly live near an Apple store, but am willing to get there before they open if they have the laptops. I don't live in the US either.

How about watching the event? ;) I am pretty sure they will tell us when we can get their machines.

Are they gonna say in the keynote when they are available for pickup?

Yes, they will. For sure..!!!

Some information I heard about these days:
Long time no post here!
Today I went to an Apple Store which is the biggest one in Asia and chat with them about the new MacBook Pro. They said that the model has arrived in the store for some days but only few are allowed to see or touch them. From the message widely spread in that store, they said that 13'' Pro has 2 USB Type-C, on the same side and the other side a 3.5earphone port. For the 15'' model it has two USBC port on both side and a headphone port. And the logo won't glow confirmed by many assistant in the store.
So that's all I got from the local store...... Hope that would help.
Still waiting with hope that I can get it on Friday in Hangzhou.o_O:(
Apple wont glow???? Why?

so this is how space gray will look like i guess.. really hoped for matte black

Anyone else think we might get a mention at tomorrow's event? Or even a little tease:

"So finally, here's what I know you've been waiting for - new watch bands!

"Just kidding, MacRumors guys..."

I don't like this render.

1. Compare the size of the iPhone with the MacBook. Really? Look at how tiny it is.
2. Bezels unchanged. This is based on the leaked chassis, however fails to take into consideration that the side bezels on the display must be smaller, due to the chassis being 8mm narrower.
3. Chassis is higher about 4mm, thus making it possible to fit a 14 inch screen into the MacBook. Side screen bezels are easier to reduce than the top bezel with the camera, which would fit the higher but narrower base unit.

Just checked the apple online store in Germany: All MBPs are still available for next day shipment. However, if you choose to upgrade to 16GB RAM (13") or larger SSD, shipment is estimated for Nov 2-7th! Would that mean that Apple would continue delilvering BTO the current models after the release of the new models? Or would this be an automatic upgrade without additional costs? Wondering if this could be a bargain...

No one answered this when I asked before, maybe it got lost in the commotion. Can I order a Mac online and pick it up in the store? What about if I order a BTO Mac? Can I have it delivered to a store instead of my apt?

Hey guys new poster here. I'm not going to be able to buy the 2016 rMBP 13" until Saturday, so do you think it will have have sold out at my local apple store by then? I'm currently living in bristol, UK which isn't a big city.

How much do we think the 2tb sdd upgrade will be?

Ii fear Apple will really hit UK hard with price increases in general following Brexit etc.

No one can say for sure. Apple may have stockpiled enough to match the initial demand or availability could be very scarce as was the case when the brand new retina MacBook launched.

Ordering from the online store as soon as they go live is your best bet to grab one of the first batch but you might have to wait a few extra days for delivery.
