The RX 460 is actually more likely.I predict a 480M still. Tomorrow.

I think it's harder for people who type without looking to get used to it (i.e. myself). Harder, but not impossible.Because trying something new for 5 minutes is the best way to decide whether you like it or not.
I didn't like it when I first tried it. But I kept at it. I was at the table in the Apple Store for more than 15 minutes, just typing on it. It felt great afterwards. I tried the normal keyboard on the MBP, and it felt weird again. For a few days I really missed the low travel. Then I got used to a normal keyboard again. My point, though, is that it takes time to get used to it, but once you do get used to it, it's great!

You'll be disappointed if that's what you're hoping for. I'm not predicting a GTX 1050, I'm just saying that it will not have an RX 480M. I'd be surprised if it has a dGPU at all actually.
If it does have a solid dGPU, it will make me overlook the negatived of the keyboard/Magic Toolbar.
Why would you think that? What are you talking about? Of course it will have a dGPU.
Why would you think that?
Exactly.Because there's always an option for a dGPU on the 15"?
You haven't seen how thin the new MacBook Pros are yet, it's going to be significantly thinner. Apple has already replaced many of the dGPUs in Macs with iGPUs.Because there's always an option for a dGPU on the 15"?
I think yes. They have a model with some extra options on sale and I think it was in the past available immediately. Please correct me if I remember this wrong.will non-basic model immediately available on stores? I mean if the basic model is immediately available. Just ask for some opinions
RadeonX4100 kext supporting Polaris 11 added in Sierra and plus, indication from rumours. Case closed. Why would you think that?

Yes ! I think you need to watch it on an OS device if I'm not wrong though.Less than 24 hours guys. Is apple going to stream the event?

It's going to be at 7 PM local time, which is perfect. Snacks and drinks are ready to be consumed !
I didn't log in the forum for two days now in order to keep alive the surprise during keynote so seeing the last few messages I'm not sure if we are still excited or worried ...![]()

It's not like the dGPU can't get thinner or less power-hungry. Tech advances. Also, define 'significantly thinner' because it's probably going to be pretty minor compared to the current model. The Iris Pro 580 is an improvement, but it will pale in comparison to what a current dGPU can do (even a fairly weak part like what AMD is offering up).You haven't seen how thin the new MacBook Pros are yet, it's going to be significantly thinner. Apple has already replaced many of the dGPUs in Macs with iGPUs.
Given Apples priority for battery life and thinness over performance, not to mention the advancements in the Iris Pro graphics, it wouldn't be surprising at all if they dropped a dGPU option. Especially since they'll have a dGPU built into the 5K display.
I find it funny how most people are assuming that they must be using a dGPU, and that it must be an AMD Polaris chip.
Case not closed.
All that confirms is the use of Polaris chips in Macs. Polaris will likely be in other Macs such as the iMac, so that says nothing about the MacBook Pro. Rumors are all over the place when it comes to the MacBook Pro graphics.

What? They haven't replaced DGPUs in anything. Every product that offered a dGPU in their lineup still offers one.
I have soo much to do and literally can't force myself to exit this page.
