Waiting for Skylake MBP thread

All MBPs in the UK deliver Monday 31/10, normally you can order by 7PM for free next day delivery which would be 28/10. It's 11:28AM at the time of posting.

Will people ordering them now be upgraded to the new model? It might be a way to hedge against a price increase :D

Can someone tell me the best software to create 2D sprites
Preferably other than photoshop

If Macbooks where delivered to the Stores allready, are the transport boxes sealed? How is it ensured that no Apple employee opens the box before the keynote? Or is the Store Manager the only Person who can do this?

There is usually a huge fine for stuff like that.

MacBook Pro (early 2017)
instead of
MacBook Pro (late 2016)

i dont know it was big wooden boxes from the size like 2 x 1 meter and another meter high maybe? and all wooden, but it looked like shipping boxed, there was sure something else inside, so maybe the mac books. and it was 2 big trucks so i couldn't believe its iPhones, maybe the first day but not now those many shippings?

Does that ever work when they aren't just releasing a speed bump?

It would be hard to map the upgrades to the BTO current models.

No I think would be the answer ;)

I was yesterday in the Hamburg Apple Store, and they had some empty tables. Not only that, but a big area full of laptop was delimited by some protection. They were old MBA and MBP, but of course ready to be changed with "something else".
Funny though, there were also a couple of MB...

If the Stores will have Macbooks Friday, Apple has to deliver them to the Stores. Maybe yesterday this was the case! It would be crazy if they use the last possible day for it. A simple traffic jam can make it difficult to be in time... I hope Oberhausen was visited by a truck too! ;-)

if u want to escape, go to the airport and pick a Ryanair flight to Rome, I'll prepare some pizza and beer!
