Is anyone in London planning to go to the physical stores today? I'm contemplating after seeing all the news about lines being set up in SF and some people seeing large shipments come in. Anyone been near Covent Garden today?
they were setting up an hour ago with the new unboxed 'stuff' and this happened... @ssong were you there!!! :)

If anything they would be getting delivered this evening
I very much doubt we'll see an instore release tomorrow. The legistics behind organising such an event without any leaks are almost impossible. The new units would have been showing up in distrubution centres over the past week and I'm sure some low level Apple Store employee or distribution worker would have run his mouth by now.

In my opinion we'll see order now shipping in two weeks.

Maybe only the flagship store are going to get them available for pick up, while the other stores are going to get only the demo units.

Can't believe my company just purchased 4 Macbook Pro's today... facepalm...

But I mean they have a point: We really need all the ports for compatibility no need for dongles.

Still it hurts
Still they should have waited for tomorrow in order to have the price drop the older generation will offer ...

How big of an update do they need to do there that they shut down website down already? ;O I think normally they have shut it down at the event or one hour before event tops.

In Poland it is also happening! Oh my gawd! I will buy me a new macbook today!
Salivation mode: ON!

That's it guys. :)
I'm driving home now. Work is done, and soon we can enjoy the long awaited keynote. Maybe i come back during the keynote.
See you on the other site.
;)
Maybe the next post is coming from a brand new Macbook Pro? :p

Good Luck & may the force be with you :D

So, given a powerful enough 13" MBP (maxed out) and TB3, does this mean with can finally play games by adding a Razer Core + monstrous graphic card ?
I'd think technically you could, but I think Apple would have to support it and drivers would have to be available. Razer said they'd allow any maker to work with them to bring support to other laptops so Apple would need to work with them. So that being said, I won't hold out hope that it happens.

Base 15"
will get eGPU later and already have supa fast USB-C externals ready to go.

You are assuming eGPU's will be suported.

I'm going for top 15'', better cpu, more storage, dGPU, and if later on the dGPU isn't as strong as I want it to, then I'll ad an eGPU (if suported).
