The 11" MacBook Air is definitey gone then?
They still want nearly £1000 for a U.K. 13 Air. That's insane! Not even a Retina display on that thing, 1.6GHz and 128GB storage?! Hahaha

Looks like they are keeping around the 2015 15" iGPU. All for the princely starting sum of $2500 CAN. Oh, and that's with 16GB/256 base model, with ONLY TWO TB3 Ports.

"Pro" my foot.

Wait, I can't even configure a 32GB option, and the memory is soldered in?? My 2013 MBP has 16GB and just chrome can eat up all that memory. This memory limit seems like a deal breaker for a box that should last several years.

1499$ now gets you either a 2015 13’ with 256GB of storage or the new one with the same amount of storage. I don't get this. xD

.......Apple are rich beyond imagination, and are still trying to mug us.
Well....they've got to pay for the spaceship somehow!

Ok honestly **** these prices but my laptop literally does not work 60 percent of the time. I know the price will go down in a year but I literally cant handle it anymore. Why am i going to suffer a year just for a $400 cheaper and probably minimal improvements. I need a new laptop and since im going to be keeping this for atleast 5 years, I just ordered a 13in macbook pro touchbar with 16gb of ram for $2000. I literally just read my sentence again and I cant believe im paying 2 grand for this ****. I really hope im wowed.

Seriously.
I might have to bite the sour apple,
but this was WAY underwhelming.
nice design. thats about it.

More like rotten. Because they've had us waiting for so long. And it seems like they still can't put in hardware from this year.

Seriously, I'm very disappointed in the lack of a resolution bump but 16GB ram max on the 15 inch... I'm actually dumbfounded.

They're using DDR4... right?

16GB ram max. Late 2016.

What. Like what. Like. Seriously. What. I'm just. What?

I'm so torn right now. The cheaper 13" rMBP without the touch bar has me so confused. It is essentially a retina Macbook Air by a different name, which is awesome. But I'm not sure if it is a good thing to have 2 models that look the same, have the same name, but have so many subtle differences. For example if you look on the specs page you will see that the cheaper model has slower RAM, but a larger battery.

Does anyone know, based on what skyline offers, which processor this is? Is it perhaps a 15W processor?

Regardless, I can at least get 16gb of ram and dual display support on a 13" Mac laptop that weighs ~3lbs so I guess I can't complain. The touch bar looked mildly useful at best so I think I can live without that.

Will probably still hold onto my 13" MBA for a while and wait for refurbs or something...prices are kind of ridiculous.

Anyone having trouble ordering with barclay financing? I click to access credit, but on the actual shopping cart for payment there is only a "financing" option to apply, which I've already done...

The worst thing is that Apple fanboys will continue to buy at these ridiculous prices. I would understand if these new machines were offering something significant over the older ones, but they aren't. If this sells well then Apple will keep the prices high for the KabyLake release, which sucks.
