I can get a 512 gb 4k razer blade stealth with 16g. Ram, razer core, 1080 card and a 4k 27 inch monitor for less than the cost of the 15 inch I preprdered

This is confusing...
Some of you are saying the no Touch Bar version is great not only because of the CPU (no touch bar and touch bar comparison as posted in the other thread http://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-intel_core_i5_6360u-581-vs-intel_core_i5_6267u-584) but also because it might have a much longer battery life, then again others are saying it's only as good as the 2015 MBP or even worse.
I guess I'll have to wait for actual reviews.

Don't worry I will get the 13" touch bar version as soon as it comes out. If you know what I mean.
I totally agree with that, but I will say, I don't like using trackpads - I much prefer to plug in a mouse. Maybe I'd hate it less?

not sure how it will help us but it does look much better OCD wise in this new version when it cover the all area below the keyboard till the edge
If you guys live near a reasonable amount of Apple stores, wouldn't initial products reach stores near the time your order(that you made now) arrives? Therefore, wouldn't it make quite some sense to wait a bit, ONLY if you live near a reasonable amount of Apple stores?

I don't have any experience with this but I believe you can cancel your order and place a new one with your 1tb option. personally I would never pay $800 (essentially an iPhone 7 128gb) for a 1tb more space on my MacBook especially since 2tb hard drives can be had for $70-80. if I needed something I would just hook up the hard drive and transfer in a few sec/min.
Yeah since most of us aren't getting these until at least mid-November, I think we can keep this "waiting" thread up until then.

Here's my plan: going to wait until Best Buy has them in stock (hopefully this wait won't be 3 years as well). On the day I go in store, I'll get a Best Buy credit card and apply the 10% discount on my 15".
The non-touch MBP 13" is also new? I thought it was the old unit with a price increase.

here is my take on this. when you put it like that, the razer laptop is a much better value. however, I don't game or have a need for a external gpu so that's out of the equation. and I much prefer Mac OS X compared to Windows. doesn't the 15in MacBook have a 45w cup compared to the 15w in the Razer? if so that is a huge performance difference. I really like the touch bar and find it pretty innovative. so id recommend to get the 15in MacBook.
