They have a point: Macs' dGPUs have been gimped for years, but it's been so for a reason: Apple design their computers for consumers and professionals, not for gaming, autocad, VR, etc. Apple favors form and tidiness over brute power. And, to be honest: I guess I gotta agree with that vision, as it is more mainstream and it fits better with their target market.

I dont see Apple going back to powerful dGPUs any time soon.

I really don't see any point in VR except maybe applications for AutoCad or surgeries, but so far everything I've seen yells "fad" to me. I think it's long overdue for eGPUs. If you need the OOmph, just hook up the eGPU case. Would also work nice for Mac Pro, if you need that kind of power.

HERE SHOWS THE DISCOUNTS OF MBP
:apple: LET MARCH END THIS RIDICULOUS STORY PLS

Amazon DE, UK, FR, SP and IT also have several models with "last units" mark.

Intel ARK has "launched" every skylake i5 and i7 mobile processor except for the rMBP 13 i7-6567U which says "announced" but release date Q3 15 and Vaio Z set to March release is going to have this CPU.

C'mon Apple, don't make us wait until june.

Core M are the CPUs from Macbook. So yes, there possibly will be gold laptop with Core M CPU in March ;).

That's not trustable. How have they access to Kaby Lake CPU when we varely know nothing about Skylake's Iris 550 and Iris Pro 580?

:insert I don't belive you gif here:

But if it's true... and Apple waits until June for the update, they are going to be a lot behind in performance than other Kaby Lake devices that will be out in September...

Plot twist: all of these websites have been right all along: Latinos Health, Ecumenical News, ChristianToday. All of them. When Tim Cook walks out with the OLED, touchscreen, removable keyboard MacBook Pro with a powerful Core M processor, he'll be like, "What do you mean there were no rumors?"
Yea, if you WHOIS these websites they're all registered under the very same shell corp that Apple uses for patents.

Engineering samples. It is just like every other benchmark site, that have remote database of scores.

Interesting, but still I'd prefer to see benchmarks from the Iris 580.
Also, why did you compared GTX 850M instead of 950M?

For those who are still posting crap from clickbait websites: don't do it.
Even if it's funny, you're still giving them money and importance, and bringing them up in the Google search rank.
Three things they don't deserve. Hell, every time I search for news about Skylake they come up, and other trustable sources like wccftech or Motley Fool don't.
So please, stop. Seriously.

Skylake MBP's are going to be announced in March event surely, this can be seen from huge discount running on all the products.
Moreover, the Skylake processor's are available now.

Whole Mac line is outdated, they will announce other Mac products at wwdc to remove confusion and cannibalization.

The only reason we are not getting any leaks is because they are going to ship/release them later like April or start of may.

I don't think discounts are as telling as when reports leak out that the inventory is "constrained." If they do update to skylake, I think the reason we are not getting any leaks is because there is no redesign, which strikes me as being a little strange.

I stand to my bet : a "redesign" with only TB3/USB-C ports, slightly smaller bezels, maybe slightly thinner (nobody cares so much), and in MARCH, everybody CARES ! :)

And in preparation to hitting the preorder button, if you had to bump up the specs of the middle (256 gb ssd) 13, would you go for the 16gb RAM ? 240€ is kind of obnoxious, but worth it ?

You are forgetting the MAC PRO announcement, when mac pro was redesigned, apple announced it at wwdc and then it was released in November.

Obviously, this time they are going to release within a month or 2.

I'm not forgetting Mac Pro announcement. It was the exception, even Phil Schiller said so when he announced it ("we don't usually do this"). It was such a small market and the sales of the old ones were so small that made sense to tease something for months away, to keep people interesting. Macbook market is nothing like that at the moment.

Neither of us are mind-readers or fortune tellers so we're just guessing. I'm basing my assumptions on how Apple has handled Macbook announcements and releases in the past, which have consistently been close together. Obviously they could change it, I don't see them basically destroy sales of Macbooks for even 1-2 months just to tease something that's coming months away. If they're not ready to ship them, they won't announce them. We'll know when they make the announcement.

Just wanted to add my two cents about the Skylake XPS 15...

My brother and his wife have had zero issues since purchasing one. I have played around with it and have been tempted to buy for months now. Going by looks it's more attractive than the current rMBP and it's built well. I won't get into specs for obvious reasons. If we don't get new Mac's before the summer I will gladly purchase one.

Some of you act as if Mac's never have issues, I personally know people who had their screen literally peeling off within 8 months. Along with other various issues depending on the person. Every product will have issues, Apple included. I get this is a Mac/Apple forum, but the ass kissing is obnoxious.

The Dell is tempting, and I'm starting to use Windows way more than Mac at the moment. I no longer code and take photos. Most of the software I need is already coded, and most of the pictures are taken. I still like to review the code and look at the photos on a great screen.

Very dadaesque indeed, but my mbp usage is mostly through a deskop monitor, so I don't care so much (except getting a 4k one), and getting a windows PC is bordering impossible for me, but it has to me March.
