If Apple does support eGPU's in future Macs, do you think Apple will sell a eGPU or let third-party manufactures make and sell it?

An Apple design eGPU would be cool or even a redesigned Thunderbolt Display with a built in Graphics Card would be cool too.

There are eGPUs that are usable for macs right now via TB2. All you need is a graphics driver for the card, not the driver for the enclosure. hope that gpu manufacturers releases drivers for mac os in the future

I came here to post this! May availability, unless Apple has the first pick it's unlikely they'll update the 15" in March.

I hope that Apple would at least announce that they will ship the Skylake MBP 15 in May on the March 21 event. This happened last year, 2015 mbp 15 was announced in march and started shipping in may. I'm okay with waiting till May as long as I know that it will be actually start shipping in May

If they ANNOUNCE the 15" on Monday, and RELEASE them in May... I will be pre-ordering one ASAP. I just need them to take my money before the end of June! As long as I have a receipt for the computer, I can deal with my faltering late 2011 MBP.
