Now that you mention it I might just go berserk if there are no MacBook Pro announcements come Monday.Spoken as a true Viking!

What if they announce on Monday, but don't ship until late May? Is that enough for most people? Otherwise your options are either a redesign in June or a spec bump on Monday with no redesign.
Actually you should go with 'sprich', but never mind - it is indeed a schwere SpracheBitte spreche kein Niederländisch, Deutsch ist bereits eine schwere Sprache.

Haha oh god, that's embarrassing. Obviously it is "sprich". Been in the UK for too long, evidently.Actually you should go with 'sprich', but never mind - it is indeed a schwere Sprache
German store still promises delivery on Monday for the regular 13" devices. BTO is 24-30.
I wanted to respond to that in Dutch, but all i could come up with were grunting noises and guttural sounds(just playin!)
The most interesting part is that the current 13" is a year old on Saturday (happy birthday!). We all know it's holding the record of longest update period for a rMBP. The suitable chips are out there. So what gives?
No word of the 13" on Monday practically guarantees an impending redesign. But that still means that either:
If the Skull Canyon NUC with the Core i7-6770HQ isn't shipping until May, that's the earliest we could also see a 15", correct? So WWDC in June is a fair guess. But to hold the 13" until then? That's now 457 days! The average is 219 days for the 13".
- The redesign just isn't ready.
- They want to release both the 13" and 15" at the same time, and the Core i7-6770HQ (given it's the sole delay reason for the 15") is then delaying both machines.
I honestly think we could get a Skylake speed bump on Monday for the 13" (and maybe rMB). It resets the clock and offers something to people with dying machines who just can't wait anymore and don't care about a new design. The price could also drop a tad bit.
Then the 13" and 15" "New Retina MacBook Pro" hit shelves in June, with a grand unveiling at WWDC. They could then:
- Drop the price on the 13" rMBP and keep it as a lower end pro laptop (Oh, hey, like the MBP is now).
- Just refresh the 13" again. Think I'm crazy? February 13th, 2013: Apple released a refreshed 13" rMBP just 113 days after the previous update. This time around it'd be 89, but not outside the realm of possibility.

It refers to the poster, or the thread starter, kind of our cyberculture. The "landlord" translation is so funny but it actually gets the point.![]()
It's pretty expensive, no? What about if apple comes out with one, it'll be thousands of dollars. For those who wait for eGpu solutions - Razor Core standalone cost only 499 dolars![]()
There are no laptops available with the i7 6770HQ CPU (we don't even have benchmarks), you must be confused with i7 6700HQ that has been available since September.Seems strange to me... people keep mentioning the i7 6770HQ in a manner that denotes a lack of availability on that chip... yet having been searching around for the last couple of days, there are a number of laptops available (without a long lead time) that have that very chip. That would lead ME to believe, that there is a very real possibility that an announcement (at the very least) on Monday, with shipments occurring in either late April or early May is feasible.

Yeah the competition will bring it way down unless it their prices are more expensive. What is actually in a eGpu box ? is it just a controller to interface the gpu with the TB3 port and some cooling fans. 400$ for that is way to expensive, the price will surely go down with emerging competition.
Also I think one of the main reasons apple might do a redesign this year is to create a visual gap with the older models. Apple needs to make the older ones feel old visually and not just in terms a specs. Thats how they run there iPhone business.

It's like Gold it will only raise!cheaper egpu enclosures will come in eventually
