skylake imacs

It is possible that Apple updates all Mac's to Skylake. But this would be a "big" thing and this is unusual.

Delivery at Monday is normal. Today is Friday, so Monday will be your delivery Date if you order today.
I wish that there are New Macbook Pro's on Monday, but delivery on Monday/Thursday ist not a sign for any new Mac... Sorry for this! ;-)

I am as much excited as u guys.
But I doubt that delivery dates will tell us anything about new Macs.
I hope there will be a redesign. But I really doubt that Apple is focusing on their Macbook product line right now. I guess we have to wait until WWDC. My MBA 11 2011 needs to be replaced. Either by new rMB 12" or by a redesigned rMBP 13"

Have a nice weekend guys, and get your minds off apple. :)

Do you guys think the iris pro 580 will be able to handle revit and auto cad? I don't game and only use the architectural programs along with adobe products.
Also will the 13in have the pro 580? Would prefer to have the 13 > 15.

I could run both on a MacBook...... Depends on the size and complexity of the models you are working with. Revit only needs an fast I5 processor also as makes no use of the additional cores in I7.

The new iMacs that came out in the fall already have Skylake!

Yes, but without ne biggest improvements. No USB-C and no new Thunderbolt 3!
It is possible that Apple plans to update All Macs in the near Future to support USB-C.
It is important for a (possibly) new Apple Display. Otherwise, the 27" iMac has an nice Display, so no need vor Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C in the near future...

We will know on Monday...

7:36 AM EST here....Usually the standard non-BTO model shipping dates slip around 10 AM EST like Knassar posted (After timezone conversion). IF nothing happens by then, well...game over, see you at WWDC.

Question here. What happend on other updates? I mean, before the announcement - release, they hold the shipping dates, and for people that buy the old model... lets say the day before, did Apple send them the new updated one?

Wouldn't it be safe to assume that iPad Air 1 or 2 or both are going to die, at least the higher capacity models. All of them are still in stock at apple.com. Hopefully we're going to see something happen in a few hours.

yes nice ideas for what will be the macbook line if Apple will do a redesign thanks to skylake chips for the MBP
if they will reduce 15-20% of the weight of the MBP, and maybe a little bit thinner than the 13" MBP will replace the Macbook air, so no reason for the Macbook Air to be updated or to be there, the only one reason maybe the battery life

The Ipad Air 2 will be delivered on 21. too. And it is save that a new Ipad will be presented on Monday. So everything is still possible. It should also be possible for Apple to release a new Produkt seamlessly without changing delivery times. The store will go offline on Monday. There is enough time for Apple to do all the things they have to do.. ;-)

I think you guys are perhaps putting a little too much stock in this slipping thing. If its based on stock theirs no reason to believe there is a magic time it will start to slip. I know its common to see the times slipping, but looking at a exact timeframe seems a little much.
