Im wondering what Apple has planed that stops them making the updates for every single computer apart from iMac, and Macbook?
Mac Mini, Mac Pro, Macbook Pro, Macbook Air. Those are the ones that did not received any meaningful updates for very long time. New Thunderbolt Displays? External GPUs? Abandoning of those lines? Confirmation of Half Life 3?
Tim Cook said:“I think if you’re looking at a PC, why would you buy a PC anymore? No really, why would you buy one?”
That is my final prediction as well (just a few posts up).I'm just hoping that a lack of shipping time slip between now and Monday will just mean that Apple will be announcing Macbook updates but they won't ship for a week or two or some BS like that, like the 12" MB last year.
One can hope.
If Apple releases any form of Surface Book while their entire personal computer lineup is in need of an overhaul, I'm jumping ship for a Razor Blade and never returning.Maybe they are going to introduce their version or the surface book.
iPad Pro that disconnects from the bottom of a MBP with additional storage, ports, dGPU, and keyboard/trackpad via apple magic of the smart connector running Thunderbolt 3. Introduce Monday and ships in a few months like the original iPad release.
I can just picture Tim saying "We've taken the POWWWWER of Thunderbolt threeee....and integrated it with smart connector in a waaaaaay...that only AAAple..... could do. Isn't that amazing."
I still believe apple will announce new MBP on 21st march with later shipping.
What Cook says is that custom build PC's are dead. 90% of whole PC market will be BGA(NUC, All-in-One). I have been writing this in Mac Pro topic for almost year and a half at this stage. Markets are changing at this very moment.Maybe this

I'll tell you this, something is coming on Monday and that is a fact.
can you post for me the link from feng leak? if you can still find itI think its very likely the Macbook will get upgraded at the event Monday (the feng leak even suggested as such) and it doesnt show any slipped times either. So I really wouldnt read too much into it.
Some concrete discussion and rumor-mongering from outside of our Macrumors echo-chamber:

These guys speaking here seem to be pretty sure that there will be MacBooks announced on the 21st ! And they are also talking about the entire range of MacBook which is gonna be upgraded ! Would love to believe it but seems a little far fetched !!
