so I started back at page 1 and began reading... 2013 is a ways back :/ .... And talk about the evolution in the wants and wishesInternet always amaze me.
How we went from "waiting for this piece of technology" to "be healthy, rich, and what's the answer to life the universe and everything?"

Nope. Will this wait ever end, will we ever get new macbooks.
Was really thinking about the new XPS 13 (waiting on an updated 13" MBP Retina).
I want something with a super high res screen, good performance, and great battery in that form factor. Seems that the high res XPS falls way short of the MBP in battery life... Sucks. May still jump on it, as the price is attractive, if the MBP doesn't show its face by June.
maybe hp spectre to come close but i think event this will come under 8h battery usage. xps getting really hot in moderate use..Was really thinking about the new XPS 13 (waiting on an updated 13" MBP Retina).

the wait will end at WWDC, i guess we all hope this.
Ideal WWDC for you i guess will be:
-iOS10+MacOS
-Mac Mini update with hdmi+thunderbolt 3 ports that can power even a 5k @60hz
-redesign Macbook Pros with colours options+thunderbolt 3 ports
-update for 12" Macbook
-updated Thunderbolt 5k Display
-Apple watch 2 introduction with better cpu etc
you mean this one/? http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/thinkpad/p-series/p70/Slightly offtop but still...
Lenovo P70 is quoted as having Xeon E3 with Iris Pro P580 on Russian website (http://shop.lenovo.com/ru/ru/laptops/thinkpad/p-series/ "Поддержка процессора Intel® Xeon® Z3+ с GT4e", yes, it's Z3, a typo?). Lenovo websites in other countries do not confirm this info.
Do we have any news about it from other sources?
Might be the first laptop with top Xeon with P580.

that article is from 2011 and an Steve jobs era!!! so much is changing in 5 years....are you living in the past?
You could select the cheapest model and customize it to have Xeon E3-1505M v5 for $2145.6. But this is not the Xeon I'm talking about. This Xeon has non-Iris HD P530.you mean this one/? http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/thinkpad/p-series/p70/
still with xeon is over 4000$
Actually heath care is Steve Jobs's legacy. If you read Steve's biography you would know that.
Because if you've used them without reading it, you're imposter! Is it news to you?Why do you presume I ought to have read Steve Job's biography just because I've bought some apple computers/phones over the years?
It wasn't offensive, sorry that you felt that wayWhy do you presume I ought to have read Steve Job's biography just because I've bought some apple computers/phones over the years?
Just keep saving and then max that 2016 out for giggles.Come on, Apple, I've been waiting for 6 months to give you my money. My mid-2010 MBP is on life support. Not sure how much longer it will survive....
It wasn't offensive, sorry that you felt that way.
What I meant is that there were rumors that Steve after going through cancer donated a lot of money to hospital, or something health related. Also it was touted a bit in the biography that he would want to do something for health care if he could with Apple. Thats why I think health care, and environment approach are Steve's legacy, and it will grow.
Apple Watch, health as big data. You don't understand the future. Reread Openheim's posts. Twice.I live in England.
Despite our current governments best effort's, happily our health system is more efficient than Steve's...we don't rely on private companies/individuals 'doing something for health'...what are apple doing for health btw..apart from giving money to a favourite hospital?

Props for your healthcare. Keep it classy. Don't give it into private hands (I think I've heard there are certain attempts in this direction).
Edit.
Big data .big profit.
The current UK government are attempting to kill the present system by stealth and open it up to their friends in commerce.
They can't/are afraid to do it openly because it's so popular...
No.
