Waiting for Skylake MBP thread

Well now I'm officially worried. I need a computer before August and I know I'll be jealous when these new MBPs come out in Q4. I know they're just rumors, but the fact that there haven't been any rumors this close to WWDC is not a good sign either.

It was my understanding that Apple would go by fiscal quarter. Still possible within reach of WWDC.
Yep, they could announce and then start shipping in July. That might work out nicely.
I'll live if I have to wait until October, but I'm hoping these still come out shortly after WWDC. Apple's fiscal quarter four starts in July, so maybe he means that, maybe he doesn't.
Serious question. Where does this Ming Chi Kuo get his information from? Looking at his past record, he's definitely getting it from those who have access to
I'm talking about the 13" rMB. They could (And probably will) copy and paste the architecture of the 12" model and put it on a bigger screen, but since we're in a thread that's wishing for things, might as well make my own wish.

I bet 13/14" rMB will be shown at WWDC and available for shipping in a week. And I bet the 2016 rMBP will ship 3weeks/month after WWDC.

I don't want to buy a 2015 model just for a few months, then lose money on it when selling it so I can buy the updated rMBP.

I'd be happy already if they only announced the new pros and make them available in a few weeks after wwdc. I only need proof they're working on it and soon. Give us something, Apple!
Agreed. Q4 - October, November and December. Still a while to go yet boys and girls. The update will be worth the wait though. Those Polaris chips offer up to 2x the performance per watt compared to what we have now. Couple that with efficient Skylake CPUs, Thunderbolt 3 and a thinner chassis - and you have yourself one very mean notebook.
No oled display screens 100%.guys lets not worry about when it's coming out, I can't wait for a sexy OLED screen and touch ID, it'll be awesome!
EDIT: Oh no just reread the rumor it's a "OLED display touch bar" but surely they could do the screen in OLED.
