I like the info! Not the content, though!

:D

If Kuo is to be believed do you happen to know which of the 3 prototypes that is?! Is it the most radical or the more conservative one?!
yes the most radical from the 3.But it exist

**** that keyboard though. I'm not typing on a piece of bubble wrap. Didn't they hear everyone who hated the rMB keyboard?
its the same mechanism but not the same low travel but it is even more reliable keyboard

And now even analysts are trolling us :D

I don't believe a touch bar like that is anyhow possible or Apple style, but still I may be wrong.

That said, regardless of what "fourth quarter" means,do you seriously believe Apple can skip June (half 2016) without giving us something?
Release/availability date is then a completely different thing...

OLED touch bar to replace functonal keys? And for what advantage?
In any case I'm tired of waiting, that Q4 I really hope is a fiscal year period.

To be completely fair, I'm not quite sure I believe what Ming Chi Kuo has to say either. Rumors aren't always true, and Ming might be completely wrong. Remember, Apple said at their earnings call that they expected Mac sales would pick up in June, and I can't believe they would leave their products stale for back to school.

A redesign for September does not preclude them launching skylake in the next 60 days.

All I wan't is TB3 with Skylake. I don't care about a redesign. I'm fine with the current design. It sounds easy but for some reason apple thinks they have to make the eighth world wonder.

OLED touch bar wouldn't bring any real advantage imho, just add a new shiny part making half of us drolling ans the other half furious.

If this is to be believed than so many prospect buyer will turn to 2015 machine or windows products

Skipping out on a chance to integrate OLED displays into MacBook Pros...is not future proof at all.

Next redesign would be in 2020...by then most notebook manus will offer OLED displays.

I suspect a minor hardware implementation of OLED - similar to Force Touch for 2015 rMB...in 2018.

Considering Apple will "beta" test OLED w/ iPhone 7S/8 next year... 2018 seems likely for rMBP OLED integration.

Q4 better mean fiscal... I'm a student, and I can't wait until September onwards for a new MBP. Looks like I'll be reluctantly getting the 2015 model if nothing is revealed at WWDC or just after, because I can't wait forever.

Im guessing if it was the "most radical of the three" that means no usb-a (thank god)

Why is it a good thing that there are no USB-A ports? Surely a mixture of type C and A, both future-proofing it and allowing people to use existing devices (like their iPhone cable, Magic Keyboard etc.), is a better approach?

In any case I'm tired of waiting, that Q4 I really hope is a fiscal year period.

I see Ming-Chi Kuo striked again...

French websites analysed Q4 as being between October and December, clearly stating it would miss the « Back to School » timeframe.

About the rMP, it seems the arrival of the 13'' will kill once and for all the MBA line.

Not really complaining, at least we have SOME rumours !

Haha, first credible rumor and people go nuts. Yeah. We have to wait for october something before we see something new.

I bet this little tidbit slipped just to handle expectation for WWDC. But you guys still refuse to believe, hehe.

I think people are going nuts justifiably - it's been well over a year since the last update, and the 15 inch uses processors that are now two generations old, plus everyone who needs a MBP for college/university would have to get the 2015 model if the credible rumour is correct.

I really hope you're right though - ideally I want to get a 2016, Skylake MBP in July, and not compromise by getting the 2015 model.

4q true or not?
like i said before, i am not at the big table where ALL the important choices are made so im not 100% for everything. but i told you last week that we will be seeing this week rumours because from intel side, everything looks good, no issues at all
I am still sure they will announce these new macbook at WWDC because from what i heard from the preparations for WWDC, we will have hans on, so from there i assumed is for the MacBooks, since nothing else can't be

Maybe he meant Apple's 2016 Fiscal 4Q, which would mean a release between June 26th - September 25th (This is Apples fiscal 4th quarter).
