What, you think people should apologise for being attentive to details?
It's details that matter when it comes down to it.
Details matter to me. And I expect details to matter to those around me. People who say "details don't matter" are not people I want to be around.
Sorry, you are mistaken.Apple's design team are extremely good at creatin that premium aesthetic. If that rumour is true, at least it will be well designed and beautiful.
You are talking about the company that spent months and months, designing the bottom of the Magic Mouse because it didn't "sound right".
There's nothing to be worried about in terms of bad design.![]()
I am assuming this was a sarcastic comment...You are talking about the company that spent months and months, designing the bottom of the Magic Mouse because it didn't "sound right".

So if those rumours are true there is NO option for iGPU + 15/16 inch MBP as it will have dGPU only? Bah. I'd rather go for the 580 when on the road and hook the laptop up to a Razer core or similar IF I need the extra graphical OOMPH.
That is what I mean.I am assuming this was a sarcastic comment...

in some way i hate those two side arrows keys on the magic keyboard too.I am assuming this was a sarcastic comment...

I bought my 15" MBP in summer 2014 because I needed it and despite people telling me to wait for Broadwell. No regrets, machine still works really well (of course) and I don't really need anything more right now. I can easily hold out for those redesigned models if I want to.
you should read some nice articles made by people who really understand that everything has it compromise but Apple always choose the good onesThey spent months so that you can plug a lighting cable in to the bottom of the mouse....XD
O, and that freaking Apple Pencil sticking out of iPad Pro and Battery Case......
Sure. Before the "true wireless charging technology" come out, that is pretty much the only thing they can do.you should read some nice articles made by people who really understand that everything has it compromise but Apple always choose the good ones
for ex this one: https://loumiranda.com/2015/12/10/apple-accessory-design-its-not-just-beauty/
good design and ergonomics are paramount at apple inc.I am assuming this was a sarcastic comment...

Sorry I'm a bit lost, are there now serious rumors regarding a 2016 MPB release at WWDC ?(or at least announcement ?)
Imo they still got it wrong, it has a bloody charging port on the bottom, that's bad designApple's design team are extremely good at creatin that premium aesthetic. If that rumour is true, at least it will be well designed and beautiful.

Unless I misunderstood something the discussion on the Accidental Tech Podcast was around other laptops that had used OLED keys and that they had heard that the new MacBook Pro would retain the physical function keys but the OLED bar would augment them in some way. They also said they had heard that the keyboard would be closer to the new Magic Keyboard than the 12" MacBook.
Is that iPhone pregnant?good design and ergonomics are paramount at apple inc.
when i saw that battery case shown at the apple store on a 4 meter wide banner display i shivered.

the icing on the cake are those openings on the front for mic and speaker
edit, this sums it up for us: http://appleapple.top/5-of-the-worst-design-decisions-apple-in-2015/
edit2: i personally have nothing against the metal logo on the macbook
Sorry, you are mistaken.
I am not the one you should attack, unless you think the position of the lighting port on the Magic Mouse, the way Apple Pencil is plugged into the iPad Pro and the bump on the battery case are not details in the actual products.
I totally agree your point that "details matter". Apple is just somewhat odd about the details in their designs recently.
Yes. And touch bar on top of keyboard will make me do more work in the day, rather than more compute horsepower.Apologies. I was referring more to the PC and gamer guys who are continually on here hijacking this thread.
I'm sick of GHz/GigaBytes/dGPU/compatibility crap talk.
Apple have certain user set in mind. All their efforts will go into making that user even more productive and creative than they ever thought possible. That's what the MBP is. It's not a GHz machine.
If we want to focus on features, the next MBP's major feature will not be GHz - it will be hours battery life.
