If Apple announces a black Macbook at the WWDC, then this is definitely a controlled leak. No way that this guy would give up his early access to Apple products for a random unclear Twitter photo.Look at what I just stumbled upon on Twitter:

He's from Technobuffalo, I can't recall them having big scoops, but I generally do find the guy trustworthy.
better screen? how so?The Zenbook does look good. I'm impressed they actually took the initiative to make a better screen. I'm not really shocked, Apple could have made the MacBook better than it is, or at least more powerful but they opted not to. I expect a major processor bump for next year.
Woah, Kaby Lake. Who would've thought. Apple skipping Skylake?meanwhile
better screen? how so?
Fake, impossible for a computer with different RAM amounts to have literally exactly same performance score, especially memory performance. Heck, even the same machine with the same components might have slightly different score within some timeWoah, Kaby Lake. Who would've thought. Apple skipping Skylake?
Seriously. I've had 200 ***** pages of people bitching at apple for prioritizing thinness over all else, and now when a competitor releases a supposedly thinner product, everyone's yelling at how un-innovative Apple's products are :/
like i said, i think Apple could put an i7 into the macbook. But the sleek ultrabook Macbook from apple perspective are for low to medium workflow users. So why put an i 7 that gets your laptop hotter and noise with lower screen quality?Easy: It's not about thinner, but about what they did in the same size. Asus managed to put an i7 in the same form factor Apple did put a tablet processor that throttles. Not to talk about memory and disk speeds. Asus laptop looks something decent to work with, not great but OK, while rMB is made for consuming contents at gold price tag (without even a dongle included). This said, I wouldn't buy any of them, I prefer something portable and with more ports like MBA, or just jumping to MBP which isn't precisely a brick.
i post from this site https://pikeralpha.wordpress.comAnd as much as i wanted to believe Serban all that time, posting this kind of fake stuff made him lose all his credibiilty i think.

Apple makes the best compromises. If you want an i7 for heavy work you dont buy a sleek ultrabook

i never said i made them. but again you can throw garbage on me.
[doublepost=1464620107][/doublepost]i already said to you all until June 3 im out from any mac projects. But i think for my good sake i will shut the f.. up
those are desktop class cpu, so not for macbook pro, i thought it is for mac mini or imac....but hey i just wanted to share something, my badAs a guy who claim to have access to prototypes why would you do it? One moment you say there are things you cant reveal for obvious reasons and another moment you post fake images from some random sites, which if would be real would reveal many things you didnt want to talk about. Doesnt make sense
Didn't notice that. You're right. Sad.Fake, impossible for a computer with different RAM amounts to have literally exactly same performance score, especially memory performance. Heck, even the same machine with the same components might have slightly different score within some time
1) like others said its probably fake
2) i think in the past mac mini has desktop cpu
3) since they are becoming more and more efficient they can put desktop class cpu if they dont want to shrink down the chassis
Based on what? I love rMB screens but I think that you're a bit confused about that.
rMB 13" -> 227 ppi (Real resolution: 2,560 x 1,600)
zenbook 3 12.6" -> 275 ppi (Real resolution: 2,880 x 1,920)
Just to be clear, zeenbook 3 has a better panel resolution than the rMB 15.
i don't think they have ever used a desktop class cpu for the mac mini (QM or HQ is the highest class that i can remember, mobile cpus anyway)
the only way to put a K series cpu in a chassis like the Mac mini one would be using something similar to a an AIO liquid cpu cooling, apple have some exp in using liquid cooling, since the last G5 powermac, and a mac mini with a desktop class cpu would be awesome but impossible to me, and not only for the cpu's TDP
Would love a Mac Mini with desktop class CPU and dGPU so it could run 4K at 60 Hz (the latter is the most important factor to me). I would so get a Mac Mini if that happened.
But look at the identifier......meanwhile
