trust me i know and i am not so stupid...people here prove that i was right before, i never made mistakes to make the connection from a brand that maybe sent me a particularly project and make the connection to me and only me. Private messages are more secured. i always make some generally hints what about to come next that can lead to any other admin or apple employees

You are most definitely a Shill. You CANNOT make any 'hints' you are under strict NDA, if you actually handled prototype devices you would know this. You are full of it IMO.

i think the fact that he always stated there are 3 prototypes (still?) is a well built loophole/alibi that can confirm his 'predictions' whatever comes out. but time will tell right?

btw, did someone say before that kaby lake core-m has been announced already? when will it be out on the street?
isn't that a bit pathetic for the rMB which got updated to skylake 2 months ago?

Yes, typical shill, makes clever comments that some hang onto but they are worded in such a way they are always right no matter the outcome, and the content of the comments are just based on common knowledge and what is already out there on the internet. Intel's roadmaps are hardly secret.
And as for Kaby Lake, yes Apple should have waited IMO to fit the same M5 as this new Asus, it would be much better then. But at the expense of their profits they like to make.

From what I've seen this last weeks and what has came out from competitors, they would be completely mad if:
  1. wouldn't give any piece of announcement, even with selling start from July
  2. would give us new HW barely comparable with those already on the market

@Serban Have you got a position on whether or not the new MacBook Pros will be announced at WWDC? I know some people are doubting you but I'll remain cautiously optimistic, as there are hardly any other rumours.

For example, now that Asus has released a device with an Intel 7th gen processor, isn't it possible Apple has waited so long just to be able to better compete?

For the 10.12 Metal will be the main feature for boosting performance for final cut pro, after effects, games, maya etc

What is maya? Would be great for Mac OS to have better gaming support.

1tb is not impressive, you just buy them and stick it in. Having a 15w processor in that 12mm chassis seems impressive to me. But obviously would use way more power and heat, not necessarily a good choice. I want to see internals of the zenbook 3. They said there was a 3mm fan.

yea wait to try that keyboard and those speakers, and that screen
[doublepost=1464607535][/doublepost]Macbook vs Zenbook 3 pros and cons:
Macbook has better keyboard, speakers, build, screen, design, trackpad, battery, heat and noise, resale value
Zenbook has better camera, usb-c port, cpu performance and ability to chose 1T ssd and 16 gb ram

Now you choose

What do you mean about the usb c port being better on the zenbook?

Asus announced transformer with kaby lake. But we have no idea when it will actually ship. Asus is notorious for shipping months and months after they said they would ship.

I must admit that I don't understand why people are going gaga over the fact that this new Zenbook uses i5/i7 processors. That would be a bad thing IMO. Let's take a look at the MacBook. It is slightly thicker, uses less powerful processors, and it still has some troubles dissipating heat. I've seen people in the MacBook forum showing off screenshots their throttling notifications ("Performance Reduced") that they get from OS X when the heat kicks up. So, ASUS decided to make a laptop that is thinner and use more powerful processors? If I had to make a bet, I'd say that that thing will be constantly throttling down in an attempt to deal with the heat and you won't even get the full performance out of that i5/i7 anyways. And of course, the fans will probably be going at full blast too. This just seems like another company that is trying to out do Apple but loses sight of the bigger picture in my opinion.

I think he meant the 3D animation software from Autodesk.
yes, Maya® 3D animation, modeling, simulation, and rendering software

very correctly, at least some one gets the fact that Apple always makes the best compromises. dont forget if you want to have a laptop for heavy work you should never choose a sleek ultrabook, so if you choose a sleek ultrabook just for normal mediocre usage why you need an i7 that heats a lot and the fans are too loud to have a pleasant experience ? That was my problem with zenbook. but hey Asus QA requirements was far inferior than Apples

So what is this now?
Edit: for some strange reason I was not able to copy the link in iOS 9. The link is in previous posts.

Come on Serban, tell us if you think they will be announced/released at wwdc, at least this will be a test! :)

Just because he tests laptop prototypes doesn't mean he is told when they will be released, and even if he was told, all that is still tentative to change.
Though due to his work he may hear information in various ways about what's happening or what will be happening at wwdc. But he doesn't necessarily know everything. He has said before he is does not know what exactly is happening at wwdc, but June 3rd he has a meeting, where he may find out some more information.

i found sort of what i was trying to tell in words about the feeling of the keyboard on zenbook when you just press a little the whole board is get also pushed down, i mean its not give you same level of sturdy that you get from the macbook. i dont think i can explain or see in the video, but i see the problem since i felt it, and you will also when you will try it in real life
at 2:15 to 2.26, i think he also said the keyboard is bending

I suppose ASUS decided to cheap out and use far fewer screws that they should have then? If you look at the MacBook, they use a crazy number of screws to secure the keyboard into the case and in order to make it sturdy.
