You can rebind that in Karabiner. There's even a standard toggle that binds middle mouse key to F8.F8 toggles Orthomode, but you know that.

Good God this "OLED bar" sounds like something Dell would think up. The first thing I did when I started a new job a few years ago was to unplug the Dell "multimedia" keyboard, chuck it in the bin and plug in my newly vacuumed Das Keyboard.
Two USB-c is enough. Maybe three on 16".
Hope track pad is invisible. I'd like to be able to dim or turn off the logo light.
No 3.5mm dinosaurs. Maybe hide it inside a USB-c (if possible).
Classic silver for me. I'll be favouring battery life so it'll be 16gb ram and i5. Keyboard options would be nice. UK short travel for me.
yes sir, didn't want to get too specific.F8 toggles Orthomode, but you know that.
already done a rebind so that when using autocad F8 works as ortho on/off without pausing iTunes, middle mouse click to pan is quite useful to me...so F8 till i die, or till i'll have an f8 keyYou can rebind that in Karabiner. There's even a standard toggle that binds middle mouse key to F8.
I just found this:I really hope you are wrong. Yes 14,200th post, yes yes yes!!!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunderbolt_(interface)Intel offers three versions of the controller: one "DP" version that uses a PCIe 3.0 ×4 link to provide two Thunderbolt 3 ports (DSL6540); one "SP" version that uses a PCIe 3.0 ×4 link to provide one Thunderbolt 3 port (DSL6340); and another "LP" (Low Power) version that uses a PCIe 3.0 ×2 link to provide one Thunderbolt 3 port (JHL6240).
yeah, i was replying to you about the possibility to use 2x 3.0, but as you can read, the 2x 3.0 only offers 1 TB3 connection, so you was right about the 4 lanes needed.I just found this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunderbolt_(interface)
It looks like I was wrong according to this but it's still confusing because it says everywhere that TB3 uses 4x PCI express 3.0.
Thank you
I made another one for my dream Slate Retina Macbook Pro.
Make it happen Apple.

In terms of the 5K Thunderbolt Display w/ eGPU, I doubt apple will include a GPU that acts like a "Graphic Amplifier". Here is my logic:
4. Skylake's DisplayPort 1.2 dilemma. If the new MBPs are shipped with only iris pro 580, they will not be able to drive 5K display through only one Thunderbolt 3 cable. Only the ones with discreet graphics (w/ display port 1.3-1.4) are able to do it.
People NEED to stop confusing this. Thunderbolt 3 can drive a 5K display at 60Hz. Thunderbolt 3 has 8 lanes, not the usual 4 a DisplayPort 1.2 has, that means double the bandwidth. If any of you want to confirm this go to the Thunderbolt website and look for the infographic. It states clearly that it can drive a 5K display at 60Hz just with a single cable.
What are the video formats supported by Thunderbolt 3?
Thunderbolt 3 is based on the DisplayPort 1.2 specification and can support up to 2 streams (eight lanes) of DisplayPort 1.2 video bandwidth. A single cable now provides four times the data and twice the video bandwidth of any other cable, while also supplying up to 100W of power.
One 4K display (4096 x 2160) 30-bit @ 120 Hz
One 5K display (5120 x 2880) 30-bit @ 60 Hz
Two 4K displays each (4096 x 2160) 30-bit @ 60 Hz

2. The true "Graphic Amplifier" should be the upcoming Mac Pro 7,1, rumoured to include AMD Polaris 10/ Vega 10 Graphic.
3. HSA 2.0. As explained above, a Mac Pro should provide enough graphic power for a MBP when connecting to the MBP in a HSA 2.0 distributed computing mode.
Ermagerd y'all were right!!! A sensational leak is here!!!
We were talking about external 5k without dGPU inside the display. The hd580 will be put in idle and only the dgpu will be used from the display
Read my post. I never say a Mac Pro is necessary. I just don't agree with people willing to use the display as a razor core.U wot m8?
I want to extend my screen. I buy new 5k Apple Thunderbolt Display. It conveniently has graphics card and is pretty cool.
Do you suggest I should also get another 5k$ computer just to have extra display? This is beyond retarded. I just want extra display for my MBP when I'm at home.
Maybe in a land where each monitor comes with free 5k MacPro this is possible, but we are like mere mortals discussing stuff here.
Also if I have Mac Pro and Apple 5k display at home, why do I bother with connecting my ****** macbook pro to that?
Why, that is the way I have thought about that. The hd580 will be put in idle and only the dgpu will be used from the display
In terms of the 5K Thunderbolt Display w/ eGPU, I doubt apple will include a GPU that acts like a "Graphic Amplifier". Here is my logic:
1. Would it overlap iMac's function? No one want to have a messy product category.

5. Consideration to profitability
In a word, I believe Apple will only include a graphic solution (such as a R9 M380) that is just capable enough to run the system animations and basic tasks in applications that a Mac ships with, which in this context is Display Card just like Radeon HD 2600XTs and GT 130s some people's classic Mac Pro's. As for the Computation Cards like the flashed Maxwells in the cMPs, A Mac Pro with HSA 2.0 or external graphic boxes will suffice.
Update 06/01/2016 8:12AM PDT: After speaking to a Coach representative, we’ve learned that the bands should begin arriving to Coach stores on June 6th. The bands have been confirmed to be priced at $150, though sizing is still a mystery. So nothing to do with wwdc![]()
YUSSS!!
More wristbands!
That's what I'm talking about, Tim!
Throw away those MBP mockups!
