i think based on the upcoming macbook +macos is worth the wait...
Doesnt work that way. People have deadlines. Apple *may* lose my business, it depends. Im waiting on the first notebook with mobile polaris or pascal (low end).

They've lost business, they continue to lose business. They've assessed they're okay with it or are upset at the delays. Only Serban knows the truth :D

Apple really built themselves up really well WHEN people are actually willing to wait nearly 6+ months for a new Mac. I myself sold mines in March in anticipation for the Apple event but instead I was presented with new Apple Watch bands. Ugh disgusting!

yes, next year will be a big one, regarding iphone they are thinking to release it in summer for the 10th anniversary of the iphone, but i heard that before so take it as it is
I guess with the smartphone market being so saturated, a 3 year cycle should help to rekindle the upgrade cycle.

Is there a definite reason for the new Mac hardware being so delayed? Is it chip decisions? Or company focus elsewhere?

After reading the last couple of pages, I feel as a moral duty to ask if the next MBP will use Kaby Lake.
And I still don't understand if it will be released at WWDC.
Can someone clarify this?

Serban - and pretty much everyone else - is saying that it won't be released at WWDC. Serban says it'll be announced at the September event, along with the iPhone. They haven't talked about Kaby Lake but there's no way it'll have that, as the chips suitable for the MBP will only be available in 2017.

Really nice to see that people choose to believe only what they want to hear instead of relying on solid facts to do so. Oh well, but what else can one really expect. Next thing you know, someone else claiming to have connections with someone at Apple, comes here and says that rMBPs are coming in WWDC. Watch people defending him/her while giving him/her credibility JUST because THAT's what they want to hear. Now that Serban says no rMBPs at WWDC, hope switches to "Darknetguy". Feeble and fragile minds indeed.

Oh and really nice leaks Serban, who would have thought. /s

We all just really, really want it to be launched at WWDC - and so we'll accept anything that gives us hope, otherwise the thought that we might have to wait until October is very depressing!

Man having a doozy of a time buying a used Macbook on Craigslist. Really guys, your hardware is 4 years out of date, no warranty and you want to let it go for a 'bargin' at 10% off retail price? B*tch Please.

im selling my 15in late 2013 macbook on craigslist for 1000 and no offers. what are you talking about?

yea im sorry that im not Ive or tim cook to let you know with 1 year earlier what you will have...but trust me even they don't know what products will release since they make and test a lot of prototypes
Serbian also stated new MB 13 will release silently after that guy on twitter started posting stuff. It turned out that was a ColorWare ad. But people prefer to believe in him anyway.
nope, i said that another macbook exist in apple plans and since i didn't know if they plans to do it silently or not...i thought that can be it.But its a lot more easy to blame i guess

Let's sum things up
1. Nobody really knows if the MacBook Pro will be released at WWDC.
2. Everybody and their mother want to be released on the 13th.
3. It is pointless to argue about random " leaks" from dark guy, light guy, Serban ( I also put my name on the list) or Croatian.
4. The only solid leak thus far is from KGI and I think it created more speculation than actual solution( fiscal? Calendar?)
5. By this time next Monday we will know
6. For the next 7 days I will be enjoying the sea and sun in a beautiful Greek Island so who gives a f..k about macbook pro

PM's @Serban ..show us your PM's :D

I would buy that off you with the quickness, people around here acting like their macs dipped in solid gold wrapped in velvet and blessed by the pope.

Yeah on the dutch 'ebay' you see people offering their 2012 15", 256 GB rMBP for 1600 euros... It's ridiculous
