Dude @kevinkyoo I am going to pay top dollar to upgrade it to the top even if they have 2tb ssd and 64gb ram and 4.0ghz dual core for the 13".
Conspiracy theory:
Apple caught onto Gurman's source and purposefully supplied him with false information about the release date.![]()
I just noticed something watching the introduction of the 2012 rMBP's at the 2012 wwdc they adapted or implemented features of the macbook air into the rMBP's. And now in 2016 4 years later they will adapt or implement the features of the rMB into the 2016 rMBP's (truly we shall see).
[doublepost=1465439876][/doublepost]@kevinkyoo I forgot to mention they replaced the entire screen too because the tint was peeling off.
[doublepost=1465440802][/doublepost]Anyone down to leak any info if the new rMBP's are going to be announced on Monday?
I don't know, I think it could be fine so long as it's in the spirit of how it was done before read: not for something lame.
The article makes it sound like 1-1.25 tflops period though, not a gain of 1-1.25 over the current oneThey promise a performance gain of that, yes. We will have to see if architecture improvements make the gap larger than it may seem.
Mmm.. Slow loading on the buy page and a 2 week delivery for CTO (changed storage on the base model) in the UK. I'm getting the itch...
I suppose we can see delivery dates slip tomorrow, if new mbp's are announced ?
I think that we are in for a jam packed WWDC this year. This is the reason why I think Apple announced the changes coming to the App Store this fall today. These changes are things that will primarily be concern developers and will impact how their monetize their apps, so it would have made perfect sense to announce it at the keynote on Monday...but they did it today instead. Perhaps the keynote is going to have so much stuff baked in that they needed to do some of these things before. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part.

Since we already offtop about it@volcomvenom - Gotcha. They'll replace your computer spec by spec, but you can pay extra to update whatever you want (RAM, storage, etc)
No, watchbands are flexible and thus they are not hardware #logic@Thebeat07 @Mattsasa Watch bands count as hardware right...

That was my thought as well. Giving more of the revenue would be pretty monumental to introduce to a room full of developers. My hope is that they have shiny new toys to show off instead (please don't be watch bands).
Probably never.
Just for starters, Apple didn't release any hardware at WWDC 2015 or WWDC 2014.
