I believe that at this point Apple should offer an Apple Care for human, a sort of discount or insurance for all those people that, like us, have ruined their nerves, family, friendship and various relationships on forums like this and will get a completely breakdown on Monday
[doublepost=1465634210][/doublepost]Do you guys see what the waiting combined with lack of reliable information led us to think and type?

If there is a price drop as rumored, I might jump on that.

Not everything about the new MBPs sound great. For example I dread having to carry dongles around with me everywhere because of USB C only and I like magsafe!

That's true, but the 17" never had a large audience, so it was eventually discontinued.

That is true too, but now it's 8 years later and the 13" is the much more popular model (although we don't know by how much). And remember when they introduced the 12" and 17" powerbook, the existing 15" tiBook was also updated later on.

If it could act like a Wacom Intuos I don't think it'd be useless at all.

Indeed. Even without the screen they are very useful for drawing / photo work as long as the latency is low.
The :apple: pencil for the trackpad will be much less of a gimmick than the OLED bar since it already has a very solid and proven purpose for the creative prosumers.

Lightning port for rMBP sounds stupid though

Maybe THIS is how the OLED will look?

> Ahead of WWDC there were rumors and speculation suggesting Apple could introduce products like an updated MacBook Pro or a newThunderbolt Display, but it's likely neither of these products are going to be ready for a June debut, instead coming later in 2016.

**** you Apple then I guess.

They could be right but just saying it without any source or any reasoning makes me think that they are just guessing.

I'm thinking the EXACT opposite.
Windows Shortcuts are completely arbitrary... because most come from a time when nobody gave a f*ck about logic.

Mac Shortcuts → Command key + logical corresponding letter → C = Copy, P = Print (X because close to C and looks like scissors for Cut, V also close and looks like something being inserted, O = Open, Q = Quit, W = close Window, etc.

Windows NOW started borrowing a few of them... but...

instead of ONLY using the Ctrl key for commands... they are all over the place.
Logic tells me... if I want to Quit something Q... for Quit... plus... I wanna issue a command... makes sense.

What does ALT + F4 tell me?! Why the ALT key... and not Ctrl? Why F4? What does F4 have inherently to do with the act of qutting?
Yes I am aware of the fact that it has been like this for a VERY long time. And it is like it is... because it has ever been. Does it make sense though? Absolutely not.

Which is why I actually started using keyboard shortcuts a LOT more in OS X than I did in Windows.
I sometimes just TRY things... because I think to myself that I wanna perform a certain action... and I just try the most logical command...
You know what... it basically always works.

According to macrumors standards you're not a pro user. Might as well purchase that 2016 MacBook for your demographic.

Yeah- but I bet your Informatica guys are nowhere near a Mac..PowerCenter doesn't have a Mac port (that I know of) :) Trust me- I've been there and it would have been nice.

Thread hasn't changed - we're still waiting for Skylake or it's successor.

I'll be using my MBP to remote into my work station when I'm on the go :) Whenever they refresh, at least.

I do agree that ALT+F4 is weird, however, there is another command which is Ctrl+W that does the same thing. I don't know what W would mean, but that is what they use.

I'm not getting what you're saying here.
Neither did I claim to be a pro user, nor did I state the opposite.

I was simply talking about keyboard shortcuts... that is all.

Anyhow... you... on the other hand... are not a vegetarian. So go buy a sausage!

Tomorrow when the WWDC will get started, I'll be on the subway for sure on my way home (7pm here).

So a question to you all guys:which twitter account/s should I follow to get the best live updates?
