Is there any New leaks on KABY Lake? I remember 9to5mac said the New macbooks might have them
This is either stupid or brilliant, can't decide which but here goes:
What if there is no technical reason that the new models aren't released before September? What if Tim Cook knows that the new iPhones will not sell well but knows there's pent up demand for Macs, so he's waiting to release the Macs together with the iPhone so that the revenues don't seem to suffer as much that quarter?
I don't want to believe it but it's the only thing that remotely makes sense anymore.

I know I've lost my mind when my upcoming two week vacation 'expected highlights' include being distracted for two weeks (in Costa Rica) so that we are two weeks closer to getting the new rMBP... my Late 2011 is still hanging in (and is actually a little more stable since the logic board replacement couple weeks ago), though I'd REALLY REALLY like to retire it.

This thread should have a pop up for people posting the first time - warning them to post anything related to 2016 MBP and Kaby Lake.

Kuo says the new MacBook Pro models will feature the "most significant upgrade ever undertaken by Apple"
[...]
One Apple supplier producing hinges for the Macbook Pro is already shipping parts designed for the 13-inch machine to Apple, raising the possibility that Apple will stagger the releases of the redesigned 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pros, first introducing a 13-inch model and following it up later with a 15-inch model.
We've also seen the body of a 13-inch MacBook Pro, supporting the notion that it is already in production. If Apple does plan to stagger the releases of the two notebooks, the 13-inch machine could come in September with the 15-inch machine following in October or November if it's not ready at the same time, both dates that roughly fit in with the previously rumored 4Q 2016 timeline.
Then, introducing some actual interesting facts I didn't notice before (and that I think lot of people here didn't see)
by our beloved Ming Chi Kuo of course.

any thoughts?
Folks,
With the news that Dell have raised their prices 10% in the uk due to currency plunge (thanks brexit) and HP to follow and then no doubt Apple I'm pretty much decided that I'll be buying the MacBook (512) this evening.
Dydegu used to have it in his signature, unfortunately he is not omnipresent.
I doubt that price hike will remain for the foreseeable future as the world seemed to panic and throw its toys out of the pram after the brexit only for the world not to end. Within a few months I think the prices will be back to normal. Its not like apple are in any hurry to release the new MBP anyway is it. Could be months still.
im not prepared to wait any longer truth be told.
Only question now is what is more future proof?
MacBook new processor with 8 Gb RAM or MBP 13 with 16Gb RAM?

“...ECS showed us just one notebook that will come with Kaby Lake, and it will be available in December...”
and
"...These devices help give us a timeframe for Apollo Lake and Kaby Lake mobile products. Desktop Kaby Lake chipsets are not expected until Q1 2017, so it appears Intel is sticking to a mobile-first deployment strategy."
+ Intel Skylake and Intel Kabylake mobile processors are socket compatible. That means Apple can develop Skylake prototypes now, and can use Kabylake in Q3/Q4 2016.
I think you have a solid 0 remainingPretty sure we could count the remaining brain cells on one hand.
