HAHA so funny!
I laugh, but it is true: ives is interested in fashion and luxury. Those are his passions, and it's showing in the emphasis that is put on the apple watch and the other products. It's not inline with the majority of Apple's customers and there's too much of one man's insistence. There is an inordinate emphasis on color and materials in line with a fashion house, along with overstating how they selected pantone color #234823 blue because it achieves the perfect balance between mystery, practicality, and restrained aggression that reflects the modern millenial. It's a load of nothing and it's holding them back as they obssess over the wrong details now.

One thing is you're right, there are only two outcomes in this really. Either they announce tomorrow or have an October event,l these are the two possibilities. Because we HAVE SEEN that MacBook with the OLED BAR, and if we know anything about our Apple Rumor Past, we know if we get "PROOF" of a new Mac, such as those with New Case/Frame images with the 4 Ports, that's pretty "Apple Rumor Worthy" as far as being what's coming up. So, yeah it's either tomorrow or an October event. There's no other outcome in my mind...

Has anyone considered the possibility that the macbook pro may not be announced neither tomorrow nor in October?
Love to see how many people swear off Apple then....and check back in six months how many of them eventually ended up buying the macbook pro anyway. That describes me exactly.

Keynote formation is one large window on left side for keynote and on the right, two smaller windows (mr livestream) and this thread.

preorder formation is two windows side by side one with MR the other with the apple store webpage set to reload every minute (once it's close to launch time) with apple store app loaded for contingency.

but lately IDGAF so i might not even tune in lol.
Recently bought the 2015 MPB (I'm returning it before the 14-days, just wanted to test) so I'll have my ageing 2010 serving video and my 2015 tester to control news feeds and refresh MR

- 30min Wolven leather bands, made from the most tender cow ass skin ever! Massaged daily by Ive himself! Only $30.000 including a free sport watch!

I expect an October presentation whether that's an event or just a release doesn't matter to me.

Kaby Lake is already available , Razer showed a 4k, 16gig, 1 TB version at pax

But man I so hope Apple has an oled free version, otherwise the blade or xps it is
What's wrong with OLED?

A lot of companies beg people to buy their goods.
Apple is able to make people to beg them to sell something they think they could need. This is marketing at is best.

Even more, people are greedy enough to order something that is not even tested from a source (...payed by the producer).

Another thing that differentiates Apple that I have come to an epiphany about lately, is the fact that Apple, I think honestly think doesn't want EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE WORLD to use ALL the APPLE PRODUCTS they make.

Like it seems every other fan boy there is wishes that everyone else used all of "said companies products"

Back in the day it kinda was in business that all the executives were wanting GE and IBM to do everything, and all products could be made by those companies mainly IBM at the onset, but quickly Microsoft stepped in, and everyone was wowed, and DOS and Windows showed up and the Microsoft fan boys and IT guys went freaking crazy, and then Bill Gates got to $60 billion. I mean back in those day the MS Fan Boys wanted THE WHOLE WORLD to be Microsoft...

And Microsoft to this day at least up until Balmer, wanted everything to still be all Microsoft, or Microsoft led. Then Linux came around and the Fan Boys (mostly gamers) and IT guys kinda split, because they (IT) liked Linux and they argued a little bit about what is better and yada yada.

Then enter the iPhone, Google, Android, and Amazon 2006 days, 10 years ago. Apple finally arrived as far people leaving the "oh I heard that nobody uses Mac, it's all PCs and Windows" on the shelf, and people actually started buying Apple Products, without the fear of getting blasted by their friends, or some fan boy/IT guy, but some fan boys still did and do.

So, now we have the ecosystem "fan boys" made up of Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, or the platform OSes they represent (mac, win, linux, android, iOS etc)

But I tell you out of all of them, Apple and Google pretty much don't care about EVERYONE in the world, using what they offer. Apple way more so than Google, because in a nut shell Google loves the fact that almost everyone uses their search engine, and as long as in their eyes everyone does, they DO WANT EVERYONE to use their search Engine. But it seems like all of the Fan Boys and the companies they love want, to have WORLD DOMINATION, by their company that they covet.

I honestly think, Apple is just sitting back, and they dgAf. They are at the point where they are going to do whatever they want WHEN they WANT. They know they got best stuff, I think at least, in limited quantities, and it's global but to them, they don't care what the other guys are going to do. I mean look at the billions of dollars in losses some of these companies take. Ouch. I mean when is the last time Apple was gung ho and released a product, and the next year it was like "oh Apple LOST 10 billion". That hasn't happened, AND THEY DON'T WANT IT TO!

They know they are not going to get EVERY SINGLE person to use a Mac or an iPhone. THEY DON'T CARE to CONVINCE

To them at this point you are either IN or OUT. It doesn't matter, they are not saying FU to people. But they had a helluva rough start in the Tech industry. And they don't want it to happen again. They learned some good lessons. Especially in hardware!

Microsoft on the other hand feels it slipping away, and all of the Microsoft Fan Boys are all become Android Fan Boys AND STILL telling everyone that Apple sucks, as they goto Linux and Android... etc yada blah whatever

And we have all have just had enough... Apple doesn't and we don't care anymore.

I mean look at the rookie tech reports and wall street reports, OMG, it's like instantly we all just laugh, and say oh like we haven't heard that one before (Apple is doomed etc), we just don't care anymore, most of us.

It's funny and that's the whole thing as far as the difference with Apple vs other tech companies and their fan boys.

I mean don't get me wrong I want my friends and people around me to enjoy Macs and iPhones and such, but I am NOT AT ALL trying to convince people anymore that I just randomly talk to use Apple, like you may think this post is trying to do. It's just stupid.

I think Apple is just enjoying FREEDOM... and it sucks when people bag on them and say do this or do that come Apple you are ***** up. They're not. Dude they have so much in cash reserves. Just keeping the company running and my iCloud files safe for the next 30 years, would be good enough for me at this point, because it's been a fun road.

It's the old classic adage, You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time, Apple has learned this, and learned the hard way, they're not forgetting the past.

Other companies, nah they haven't learned this, they still want GLOBAL domination. One them already has reached that tho in a different segment: Amazon. (jerks :)) no one can compete against them except eBay, and Ali Baba in the East.

It's like you could honestly call Apple the 15% company. They will always have approximately 15% of the general market share of most of the product categories they compete in, and as long as they keep bringing in the full monty as far as PROFIT goes. They're gonna stay there and not even care, and be 100% happy being financially secure, and to know they have great products and happy customers.

That's like you said (what I quoted above) people crave it and go crazy for it!

It's genius, and the spirit of Steve Jobs...

ps. And as far as how it's related to this sub-forum, if the MacBook Pro is ready they will release it and if it's not ready they're not going to. And that's probably the biggest factor in all this...

You're wrong, they make small to large on all their products. They make cheap to expensive on all models. They are catering to the masses, they are catering to the rich. They want you to have a desktop, laptop, iphone, ipad, tv (currently AppleTV) and watch.

They want to be your goto in all aspects of communication, consumption and transport.

I love this quote above. Apple, cheap and masses are not words that go together and they are a high end product.

iPhone5c, iPhone SE, iPad mini. The Apple watch is basicly thrown at people if they buy a Macbook or iPhone6s ($50 for the small model, $100 for the large).

They are offering more and more of yesterdays tech at cheap prices.

I'm going to wake up at 3am to watch the event, even though I'll have to leave home at 6:30. It'd be nice if Apple could have events on Fridays so I don't have to worry about not getting any sleep, but it'll be more than worth it if we're lucky enough to see the new MBPs. Fingers crossed!

For Americans, it's just waking up and watch the Apple event. For Europeans, it's waking up, going to school and we have to overcome the whole day before the moment is finally there (7pm). 6 hours left!

Well, I didn't have any Apple related dreams last night, but I did have a dream that I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. And yes, I am a male. It was weird.

So, I straight brought new life into this world. Apple will bring new life into this world via an MBP unveiling.

Slightly off-topic but I wonder if we could be getting the new ios10/OS Sierra tonight!

Earlier I bought a Kindle book on Amazon (to read whilst waiting on tonight's event!) but when I went to download the Kindle app from the App Store for my iPad the Kindle app had vanished! I thought I was losing my mind so I checked with Amazon and they advised that Kindle had been withdrawn from the store for technical reasons but that it would be resolved within 24 hours!

Is that unusual or am I just suffering after 900 pages of waiting and conspiracy theories, lol!
