you make me see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Who knows. Maybe. But then count on waiting a good 2 to 3 years for another update. All the while paying the same prices in late 2018 for the same product Apple released in October 2016.
The script of the Tim Cook 'money grab' Apple is already clear.
"as soon as" means it can be 10 years from now. No guarantees, but like I'd previously posted; I'd wager money our misery ends next month!
What's one more month waiting after more than 12 successive ones ?
If nothing show up in October, I'm ready to settle for a windows laptop .... no waiting until march that thing is getting ridiculous. I think Apple has really lost a lot of his customer/fanbase enthusiasm by creating that non-sense frustration. Even more for non professional users that deem OSx as better but would (not necessarly want) be able to use a windows device (unlike pro users that are tied to some programs etc.
Anywayyyy, see you all in a month to see how things are going (or not going at this point).

The ZFS trademark was abandoned for a while, and so on.
You know today's keynote did suggest one thing about the new MacBooks -- since they doubled the storage on not just the new iPhone, but also on the previous iPhone 6s, as well as the older iPads, and all at the same price point, that probably means they will do the same in the MacBooks...
I cannot believe there is not a MBP announcement yet....... Thank god I bought my rMB, because this is crazy.
I can wait 1 more month and thats that..... but saying that, even an October released MBP might not keep me with Apple.
If the new MBP turns out to be a thin, pricey, hyped up poor excuse of a wait. back to Windows it will be.
Just reading your post made me again consider the huge amount of ill-will and dissatisfaction Apple has sowed with the neglect of their mac pro line ... and now their macbook pro line. No updates - same high prices.
To make this many of their loyal customers this wound-up and upset - for this long - has got to be one of the most 'retarded' marketing moves I've seen a company like Apple (so supposedly smart) make in a long long time.
One nice update wont erase the distrust. We know now to expect: an update, then the shaft for 2-3 or more years. How Apple thinks this makes good buisiness sense is beyond me.

Today should tell you all you need to know about pricing. Price of the iPhone has gone up and so has the watch ..
