Along with the macOS stuff, they changed the picture on the 13" MBP (right side, first image on the page): http://www.apple.com/macbook-pro/

Not sure if it's different for different countries. But at least some Apple employee was on that page. Maybe they thought, "Oh ****, I think the people upstairs forgot we even sell this product. I guess I should let someone know."

With all due respect, Apple doesn't give a **** if we get to 1000 pages. They don't give a **** about us - period. LOL

Really ? I was hoping for an announcement as soon as we hit 1000.

Of course I'm kidding. I'm just saying that it's nice to see I'm not the only one to despair.

All headphones are analog.
The DAC (digital to analog converter) before the headphones is what converts the digital signal into analog audio which is then pumped to the headphones. All Apple have done is take this DAC out of the iPhone and made it so we need a DAC outside of the iPhone instead.
The 3.5 audio jack socket is a better connector design for audio than the lightning socket. It is more secure and more reliable. Moving to the lightning connector for audio is not a step forwards.
Yes I know. I was being slightly sarcastic :D I won't be replacing my AKGs nor my Shures for any of Apple offerings anytime soon. I guess I just buy a few adapters. The thing is though that I can't buy any chinese adapter because the DAC is going to be rubbish. I hope someone makes nice adapter that has another lightning port for charging.

I'm thinking that the loss of the headphone jack and the creation of the Lightening Headphones is a Intermediate step for when they release the iPhone 8. My sources (a little voice in my head) tell me that the iPhone 8 with the OLED screen, will not have a lightening port at all. Apple will want you to go full Bluetooth or (more likely) Apple's new wireless audio format that they are using in the the air buds. Charging won't be wireless, but with a potential mag safe type of smart connector. This would solve a few problems for them and create a whole new form factor going forward on the iPhone 8.

The iPhone 8 Plus will have an additional smart connector on the side to hold and charge the apple pencil that will come with all the pluses.

@Cincyguy74
Ummm the new Apple wireless technology is Bluetooth. How would they connect to other devices which are already out in the market?
Dont think they use wifi as connection.

I stand corrected. The Airpods are Bluetooth. It was pretty unclear in the presentation. I thought since there was no mention of Bluetooth or compatibility on apple's website, that it was a different RF solution other than Bluetooth. I'm relieved that it could work on other devices than just new apple devices.

the best thing (imho) is that apple upgraded or changed the price of EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT except for the macs.
this (imho part2) opens up for a HUGE mac event sooner or later and (imho part3) we can probably start hoping for a "late 2016" release.

I WANT TO BELIVE!

But no October events in 2014, 2015... What makes you think they will go back to doing them again?
