Wow, I got the same response.
But a saturday?
this year,is the Mac year,a lot of updates will come. The BIG iPhone focus is for the 2017. So they need the upcoming profit margin from Mac,since we all believe that will surpass ipad in revenueYesterday I bought the iPhone 7 128 GB, it is great and very fast (nearly the same geekbench results as our 2006 Intel XServe) - I am shure it is easier for Apple to make money with the iPhone ... so don't expect to much from an upcoming Macbook Pro, because all the power they have is going to the phone / watch market.
It makes me sad but it is how it is.
That would be great, but why they should hold an event at Saturday? I've asked Siri something the same without "Mac" and got the same answer.![]()
no Apple event in the next three months/Its Saturday April 1 (Fools Day)Someont that owns a iPhone, ask her something more like "When is the Apple October event? Or When is the October event?"

Civilization VI launches October 21st, for windows and Mac OS X. Maybe it is meant to launch along side the new 2016 MBP
How are they related?
I think the title should be changed to "Waiting for Kaby-Lake MBP thread"
Considering several laptops are about to ship with KabyLake...
Whatever will be released will be overpriced and not be updated for the next couple of years. That's why it's a bad investment. The components might be good for six month.

I would believe this IF they have showed some respect to their customers in the meantime. For example, give a spec bump the current models - (512 for base rMBP)This lengthy upgrade period is symptomatic of moores law and the law of diminishing returns. CPU's have reached a level where they can mostly handle anything thrown at them, particularly from a casual users point of view, so it's very difficult for Apple to add value to what already exists.
One option is to include a dGPU in all options and start a gaming philosophy, that's completely at odds with their last 20 year philosophy.
Obviously you can pitch a machine at real professionals but that's probably not a volume market like say the iPad or iPhone.
Atleast your nickname is fittingNO.
Proper Kaby Lake CPUs for MacBook Pro don't exist, and will never do.
So do i but i suppose it won't take that long to see an Arm in some Macbook, maybe less than this Skylake waiting, nevertheless i'm waiting and hoping strongly for a SkyLake with TB3 next Fall which is ..closeNot sure where to start with that one. Poorly written, pure speculation, and unequivocally false.
I am not sure, but it this case you can use your guarantee on your Macbook only in Britain. you will not be able to use it in BelgiumIt's really tempting to buy a MacBook Pro 15" with 256GB SSD for 1.580 euro new on eBay UK.. or the one with the dGPU for 1.870 euros.. That's 1000 euros under the Official Apple Price, so this new MacBook Pro better be worth it..
He's right when talking about the 15", not the 13".Atleast your nickname is fitting

Fingers crossed for an across the line update. Factions in the community will be calling for blood otherwise. This better be good.
