Same here, ironically, you can't use a mouse with mac due to differences in screen refreshing rate and some other architecture in hardware that I don't understand. As someone who was used to using mice it took some time getting used to. There is, however a fix called "smoothmouse" that emulates windows mice in macs.
Whaaaattttt????? I'm using a mouse right now on my MBP and it's a cheap dell usb mouse from work.

Based on above comments, started looking at Razerzone.com. I find it ironic that they appear a little bit more positive about Apple in their forums (except when it comes to talking about GPUs or games).

Since Apple is responsible for the hardware, software and services, you're more likely be able to get your problems sorted out a lot quicker than what Razer is capable of.

...when it comes to RMA problems. Apple dont ask questions unless they see damage done by the user. Razer even though a good company is small and as such is painful to deal with in RMA...

I would say Razer has a the better product that is also more performance oriented, while Apple has better quality control and customer service. At this point despite how nice the Blade is I would not get one due to the issues I have encountered on almost every Razer product I own. The RMA process is painful and lengthy...

There's a lot of truth to what they are saying. You really can't underestimate that fact that if you have a problem with an Apple product, there is a phone number you can call, or a store you can visit. I can unfortunately say from experience that Razer is only willing to communicate with you via email.

Okay, anyone remember how not long ago I wrote a medium-sized post about how my computer was AMAZING and incredibly reliable? Well, today I tried to open Notes while I had Safari open aaaaaaand it crashed. I had to do a hard restart of the system just to get it working again. In addition to this lovely development, I am now being told that my stupendous battery (of which I was so proud) went from giving ten useful hours to a little over two.

// I had typed up to here after restarting my computer when Safari crashed AGAIN. Yippee

So yeah. All that annoyingly bubbly optimism I had this morning? F*** that.

Apple--give me my computer. I ain't kidding around no more.

So when you change the pic to have the darth vader outfit...you'll be super p****d off or Apple hasn't released a new MBP yet...right?

One thing I really hope for is a higher resolution, nothing crazy like 4K though. Apple is touting its new iPad Pro as a computer replacement. And most people that I have seen use it, use it just like a laptop, at the same viewing angle. Now, the IPP has a 326 ppi. So by that logic, shouldn't the MacBook and Pro lineup also have 326 ppi screens instead of the 220ppi. I honestly think that will be a very crisp display. Considering my SP4 has a 267 ppi, and I can't discern a pixel, not the same story for my cousin's rMBP. And Apple should hurry up with OLED, cause their own microLED seems far away, I hope we get OLED soon, considering the iPhone and iPad are rumored to get it next year.

I think Apple rationalized a lower ppi for their laptops because the distance was further away from the user. An iPad was considered more 'intimate' (remembering how Steve sat in an armchair with one during the keynote).

IMO, it's not a deal breaker. The current rMBP's are sharp enough for my tired old eyes. Plus, the more pixels, the more power required to drive them or shorter battery times.

just posting to help us all get to a 1000 :)

nothing much to say, except I would love to see the new MacBooks in October and have reached the point where I don't really care what they are any more....... please Apple just release us from this thread!

best thing of all is due to all the 'delays' I don't think I even need a new MBP now and I still need to check this forum religiously. Nightmare.

isn't the new file system a beta, and not used unless you specifically set that option?
I'd say it's in pre-Alpha stage. There are currently more limitations than features. You can't use APFS on a boot drive yet, so you can't install macOS on a APFS-formatted drive. It's included for testing purposes only, you could for example format your external HD in it, but it wouldn't be usable on any pre Sierra Mac. Probably macOS 10.13 is going to include the working FS.

does the current gen macbook support eGPU for inner display?
or is it just for the external displays...?

Does anyone have an experience with the Alienware laptops? There's a 13" and 15".

On a side note, why do so many 15" laptops nowadays come with a number pad? It makes it too big for me.
